Lizzie saltzman didn't get bored, not usually. today was the exception, after putting her phone down from texting hope she sighed and tossed it to the redwood night-stand. she was currently residing in a hotel, it was not fancy nor up to her expensive tastes she had developed from her mother - caroline - but served to fill the purpose of a bed.

after aurora ditched her for whatever stupid reason, she was all but alone. and that meant figuring out a way to ensure that her little chicken-scratch of no betrayal didn't come back on herself. if she got hexed because of her own spell, lizzie would just about die of embarrassment like any other teenage witch.

and even if she couldn't stop thinking about her idiotic actions and their stupid consequences, she still wondered about hope. befriending her was yet another idiotic choice, but at least lizzie now realised how much she cared for hope instead of trying to kill her.

"damn sire bond", she thought bitterly as she tapped her fingers against her flat stomach whilst she stared at the ceiling, "if only i could've killed hope, then i wouldn't have to wonder what the hell is going on with her,"

the blonde heretic then stood up, making her way through to the bathroom. in which she splashed water on her face and did a skincare routine, though not necessary for a vampire it helped calm her and put her thoughts in order. also it was a part of her routine, making it impossible to ignore.

"if only hope wouldn't be so annoyingly complex and perfect," lizzie scowled, rubbing in a cleanser to her perfect acne-free skin, "if only i could just work her out, then i could get her humanity back and life would go back to normal... sort of,"

lizzie looked at herself in the mirror after washing off the cleanser, for the first time since becoming a vampire she truly looked at herself. no half-glances, or just taking a selfie in the moment. this was her realising her different she looked; how much more powerful, and how much older. she didn't look like the impatient child her personality showed, she looked like an adult.

and that thought, albeit strange, caused a wide grin to spread across her face and a chuckle to escape her lips.

it was as though in that moment a lightbulb went off, too. the end of her problems. her phone flashed, of course it was next to her as she was a teenage girl who couldn't live without the object.
