Today marked the one month anniversary of hope and april's chats abruptly coming to an end. ken was defeated, and the salvatore school was back in full swing with the saltzman twins having their hands full with helping out the young ones on the new program caroline had set up to help younger children adjust.
hope had tried to help out, but there were no children she wanted to help. harsh, but she'd rather help someone like herself. of which, there was none.
or so far; caroline had called hope to her office. strange, especially for a saturday, but the brunette complied and went to the room nonetheless. besides, with roman hanging around her like a bad smell she had nothing better to do and would rather get rid of him.
and so, she knocked lightly on caroline's door, "headmaster forbes?"
the blonde vampire opened the door, an ecstatic look on her face as she dragged hope inside, "please, take a seat," she said cheerily, as she closed the door and gestured to the chairs opposite her desk.
hope hadn't been in here since alaric had passed off the role of headmaster to caroline, and so she noticed the obvious changes like the photos of lizzie and josie on her desk, paired with one of caroline and her two highschool best friends, elena and bonnie.
the tribrid went and took a seat, "what's wrong?"
caroline squinted at her, "nothing. why would it be?"
hope nodded with pursed lips, "sorry, it's just usually when im called in here on saturday morning we are going to go rescue some kid... or the world is ending,"
caroline nodded, knowing she should've been more clear with her intentions, "i just called you in here to check over a few things," the blonde ran a hand through her hair and tried to keep a happy composure, "first and foremost; roman. is him being here distracting? i see how he's been clinging to you, are you okay with that?"
hope was a strong person, and now the most powerful being on earth. the issue with roman was the emotional turmoil, how he would shove his messages with april in her face - and yes, it was now proved to be her due to hope seeing the snap user.
