Rage coursed through april's bones as she woke up, she didn't know why she felt that way, she just knew she felt anger. her teeth ground together as she pulled the covers off herself harshly and stepped out of her bed.
as she brushed her teeth - scrubbing harshly - memories of her comforting hope filled her mind, which eased her anger. until it came flooding back upon seeing the bruise roman's hand had left upon her neck.
it was a simply handprint, usually she'd look at that and smirk. today was the exception, it had shown that she was weak. april osborne was the opposite of weak, in fact she was the strongest person she knew.
she was a rock. one that wouldn't let a man get in the way of her keeping that image reflected throughout her life. and so, she left the bathroom with a scowl as her mind thought over revenge plans.

Hope wished she had spent the night in april's arms, she had felt safe and comforted - two things of which didn't come naturally to hope mikaelson. the tribrid was not surprised by the fact that april didn't freak out or run away, she was strong. like hope. that was why hope didn't freak out about letting april into her world; because she could handle it.
she rolled over in her bed, it wasn't comfy and instead was the standard hotel bed. lizzie was in the room next door, hope could hear her calling josie with her enhanced hearing and left her alone. the sisters needed time to catch up after all.
a few minutes passed by of hope thinking over the previous night, until her phone pinged;
