Alicia POV:

I walked up to the main entrance at the mall. I looked up and seen Nique.

She had on a pair black leggings black timberland boots and long sleeve crop top shirt and a red hair bow in her hair with a ponytail.

"Hey girl yo ass finally here" she said waving at me. "It's because of traffic" I said rolling my eyes.

We walked in the mall and looked around I found a cute bag in one of the stores I went in.

"Ma'am how much is this?" I said pointing to the purse. "It's 1200."

My face turned up when she said that.

"Oh ok thanks."

I had to find something else I hate not having money I like expensive shit.

"Maybe my daddy was right I need a job" I sighed.

"I know that's right" Nique agreed.

My daddy use to buy me and anything I wanted when I was younger.

Since he lost his job I don't get much he's struggling to pay bills and my mom is the only one in the house that work.

"I wish I was like 13 again when I could get anything now I don't get shit I guess I gotta get my own shit now" I said shaking my head.

"Right me and my ma got the arguing today about that it's so stressful being grown" Nique said

"I know when I was little I wanted to be grown so bad now I wish I was a kid again" I just shook my head.

We walked around the mall a little bit we found a nail shop in the mall while walking so me and Nique stopped there to get our nails and feet done.

"Girl I need a fill in my nails are a mess!!!" Nique said looking at her nails I'm not gone lie they was a mess.

"Me too girl." we both laughed.

We sat in the chair waiting on the Chinese ladies to start on our nails. "Did you pick color?" the woman asked me.

"Uhh yes I did I want this glittery pink color" I said giving her a weak smile then she started on my nails.

I waited till she finished my fingernails after she finished my nails I went over to the chair so I could get a pedicure. I got the same color as my fingernails.

Nique tapped me on the shoulder I looked over at her. "Do you know her?" she said looking over at a light skinned girl with long blonde hair. "No what about her?" I said looking confused.

"She keep giving you the ugly stare" Nique said looking at me.

Then her and her friend looked over my way they started to giggle and I just shrugged my shoulders and shook my head I don't even know these girls I thought to myself.

Me and Nique started a conversation about her and her new boo Rakim then she asked me. "So how you and Tay?." she said giving me the eye.

"Were just friends Nique" I said slightly blushing.

"Yeaaaa right you know you feeling him" she said clapping her hands together.

"Maybe a little but I aint falling for him." Nique rolled her eyes at me.

"You need to let your guards down everybody not going to hurt like he did." She said talking about my EX boyfriend.

"lets not even go there" I said throwing up my hand.

My phone started ringing I looked at it and it was Tay I answered on the second ring.

"Hello?" I said in a cute voice.
