Alicia POV

I woke up looked over at my alarm clock it was 6:45 so I got out of bed took a shower brushed my teeth I put my hair up in a high bun.then looked in my closet for an outfit.

I decided to wear a black shirt with Tupac on it that say "thug life" with a jean jacket vest, tight skinny jeans with holes in them and green glow 4s.

I walked down stairs I seen my parents and siblings sitting down at the table.

"Umm where you think you going with that outfit on?" My dad said raising one eyebrow.

"I was going out with my friend Nique today why what's wrong with it" I turned up my face.
"That's not appropriate for a job interview you need to be looking for a job!" He said yelling.

"I told you I applied to some places the other day dad give me a break!!!" I said raising my voice. "Lower your voice" My mom said.

"Ok whatever man" I said throwing up my hand. "Y'all ready for school?" I said grabbing my car keys.

"Yea I can't be late today I got a test today." Michael said.

"Well let's get ready to go then it's 7:15."
I said walking towards the door.

"Alicia!" My dad shouted from the kitchen.

I rolled my eyes and replied."yes daddy???" He came to the door where I was standing.

"Please go look for a job today." He said in a serious tone.

"Ok daddy I'll make sure I will today!" I said walking out the front door.

Me Ashanti and Michael got in my Honda Civic and drove off.

"Daddy be tripping!" Ashanti said.
"I know right I don't want a fucking job right now" I said while driving down the road.

"You need one you gone be broke daddy not gone keep buying you all this shit" Michael said.

"Shut the fuck up Michael!" Me and shanti said at the same time.

"Just telling the truth why you mad?" He said laughing. "Just shut the hell up mind your damn business" shanti said rolling her eyes.

"No you shut up with your cheating ass boyfriend." He said.

"Fuck you nigga!" Shanti yelled reaching over the seat.

"Hey yall chill the fuck out!!!" I yelled slamming the brakes at the stoplight.

"Y'all asses about to get out and walk to school!" I said pressing the gas turning into the middle school.

"Yea whatever you wouldn't dare make your brother walk" Michael said.

"Shut up and get out the car!" I said smacking him on the head.

"Whatever bye thots" he said running out the car laughing.

We both just rolled our eyes. "He gets on my damn nerves" Ashanti said.

"Mine too girl he too fucking grown!" I agreed.

"So where you going today I know your ass not going look for a job." Ashanti said raising one eyebrow.

"Me and Nique going to the mall get our nails done and out for lunch." I said looking at the road.

I looked down at my phone and I seen the name Tay pop up on the screen I started blushing. I looked on my phone at the message it said.

Good Morning ma what's your plans for today? I was wondering if you wanted to chill with me Saturday if you're not busy?
