Intermission time! I like doing these when I write books cause I think they're fun. This'll just be a short little chapter so enjoy!

Solstice's POV:

In my room high up in the Sunspire, watching the rising sun. My room had two large windows, one facing directly east, and one directly west. The room was also filled with many bookshelves that were filled to the brim. A desk sat in the middle of the space, covered with books. A fireplace stood opposite the doors, which faced north. Of course, I almost never used it. I had no need to. As I stood staring out the window, there was a knock on my door.

"Come in." I said, not turning around.

The doors opened and I heard paw steps make their way towards my position. I knew who the paw steps belonged to before I looked at them.

"Hello Swift." I said to the Thievul.

"Hello....Father." He said reluctantly.

"You don't have to refer to me as that when it's just us. I understand that calling me such reminds you of your past."

"Thank you Solstice."

I nodded in recognition before turning back to the window. "Now, why did you disturb me this glorious morning?"

"I think I have a clue to find the Prism, sir."

"Oh? And what is it?"

"I believe that the Alolan Sandslash has the Prism or knows where it is."

"And you've been following him?" I inquired.

"Yes sir."

"Good, good. Swift?"

"Yes Solstice?"

"Tell me again what happened to your mother?"

"She died. Died drowning on a sinking ship. A ship that was sunk by vile Eeveelutions."

"Right. And what of your siblings?"

"After my mom died, Father became more and more cruel. Eventually Father kicked the rest out for this and that. I assume they are all dead now."

"I see. And you still blame that one Eevee? Moon?"

"Yes. I swore to Giratina that if I ever find her, I'm going to make her suffer like I did before I finally kill her."

I nodded, having a deep understanding of revenge. "If I ever hear of an Eevee named Moon, I will inform you."

"Thank you Solstice."

I nodded and been walking towards my desk. The sun had now begun it's journey through the sky, telling me I need to begin my work.

Organizing a pile of papers, I said "Swift. Continue following that Sandslash. One of these days he will slip up and we will have the last piece of the Prism. The Dark Light will rise again, and this time, no Mon will be able to stop him."

Swift nodded in understanding.

"Dismissed."

The dark type bowed and promptly left the room, leaving me alone with my papers and books.

Don't fret, Dark Light. Your time is coming. And I will be the first to greet you.

I smiled to myself before returning to the papers.
