Moonlit Waves Pt 1

Fifteen Years Ago, Aboard the PMS Ceremony 

Larna's POV:

I looked out across the waves and let out a sigh of contempt. The waves gave off a peaceful aurora that I enjoyed. I put my paws up against the railing and laid my head down on them. As I watched a flock of Wingull soar over the waves I felt the familiar warmth of my mate as he brushed a paw against my back.

"How's the view?" He asked, his voice calm as ever.

"It's beautiful." I answered, sighing again.

I knew what he was going to say next.

"Not as beautiful as you."

I turned around and smiled at the handsome Umbreon. His blue rings reflected the sunlit, making them look like diamonds. I kissed his cheek and looked up and down the deck. All I could see were other Pokemon, most of them Eeveelutions.

"Where's Wave?" I asked.

"He's playing with the other Eevees on deck four. He was having such fun I didn't want to drag him away from his new friends."

"You're a good father, Shade. Wave is lucky to have you as one." I wrapped my tail around his and leaned up against him.

"Oh please. You're a much better mother than I am a father." Shade teased. He kissed my forehead and smiled.

"Shade. . . ." I warned.

"Okay. Okay. You're right. I'm a good father."

I grinned and began walking towards deck two where our room was.

"Where are you going?" The shiny Umbreon asked.

I gave him a mischievous look. "Our room."

"Oh?" My mate gave me a mischievous look in return. "Does my lovely Larna want to be escorted to her room?" Shade teased, rubbing his body up along mine. (Like a cat).

"Yes." I smiled, licking his neck. "And maybe I'd like my handsome knight to do a little bit more than escort me."

"Oh ho ho. I see." A serious look crossed his face and I couldn't help but giggle. "Then it shall be done m'lady." He gave a bow and followed me as we began walking to our room.

Several Hours later

"Mommy! Mommy! Look!" 

I turned around and saw my little Eevee bounding toward me, his father close behind. A large smile was sat upon his face and he looked like he was about to explode with excitement. Wave jumped at me and I caught him before spinning him around and setting him back down on the ground. 

"Look mommy! Look what dad gave me!" Wave proudly held up a small wooden box. Inside, I knew, was a water stone. 

"It's a water stone mommy! So I can evolve into a Vaporeon! And be water type! Like my name!"

The little Eevee puffed out his chest and gave me a proud smile. Shade walked up next to me and put a paw around my shoulder. I leaned against him and we both smiled as Wave began pretending to shoot bubble beams and fire water guns at invisible bad guys. I looked at the sun and nudged Shade. 

"What? Is it time already?" 

"They said they were going to begin at sunset." 

"Alright. Wave let's go."

"Is it time for the ceremony!?" Wave's face lit up like a lightbulb. 

"Yes it is son, now lets get going."
