Burn's POV:
I was cloudy when I woke up Saturday morning. It had yet to rain, but the smell in the air told me it would. I was somewhat back on my paws (emotionally that is) thanks to the combined efforts of Wave and Sandy, but I still missed Lady and all she meant to me. I looked around my room and sighed. The place was a mess. Blankets were strewn about the room, crumbs were all over the floor, my bed was unmade and my fur was matted and unkempt. I sighed again and stood up deciding to clean my appearance first before anything else. Walking into the bathroom I looked at the small tub of cold water and sighed yet again. I HATE cold water. I stepped into the water and shivered, really not wanting to go all the way in. Eventually I forced myself to bathe and once I was done washing and drying off I heated up my body to its regular temp and I headed back towards my room.
Groaning, I got to tidying up. I started with the crumbs and got rid of all of those. Next I cleaned up my bed and put the blankets away. Once I was done I decided to head out to town to see what I could do today. As I stepped outside, a strong gust of wind nearly blew me off my feet. I thought it would be best if I got to town as fast as I could so I began using quick attack to reach town. Reaching the bridge that lead into town, I wasn't surprised to see lots of Pokémon out and about despite the growing storm. Sunspire was always busy, no matter what was happening outside. As I walked around I noticed there were a lot more dark and fire type Pokémon in town then I remember there being. I didn't let that fact bother me too much and I continued with my day. Knowing I needed to buy more supplies and food for myself, I headed to Sunspire Square.
Arriving in the market, I began browsing the different stalls, looking for anything of interest. I knew where the food stall was, but I wanted to see if there was anything new in the market. I passed a large purple tent with a sign that read Trinkets, Treasures, and Troves. The sign peaked my interest and so I walked in. Inside the tent was dark with the only light source being that of a few lanterns. In the small amount of light I saw fancy necklaces, different colored shiny rocks, chests, more necklaces, some different colored tiny marbles with what looked to be little stripes in them, and other weird stuff I had never seen before. As I was inspecting some bracelets that had tiny little gems in them, I was startled by a Zoroark appearing right next to me.
"Ahh!" I gasped, stepping back a little.
The Zoroark giggled and said "I'm sorry for startling you. I just wanted to make sure you were finding everything you needed."
"Yes, I think I am."
"Good. If you need anything, don't worry. I'll know."
With that, she smiled and winked before disappearing again. The whole encounter made me want to leave the store right then and there, but something kept me from leaving. Right before I was about to exit the tent a beautiful Sylveon entered. I had never seen her before and naturally I was curious as to who she was. I watched her as she browsed the tent with purpose, unlike me, and quickly found something. After she grabbed what she was looking for, the Zoroark appeared next to her, startling her as well. I couldn't hear what they were saying from where they were, but the Zoroark smiled and then the Sylveon handed her some pokedollars and the Zoroark disappeared again.
As the Sylveon was leaving the store, I followed her. She went and sat on the fountain edge and I sat next to her. She looked up at me, confusion on her face.
"Do I know you?" She asked.
"No, but I just uh...ahem...uh..." I began, my brain not letting me form words.
"I'm just teasing. I saw you in the tent just now. You want to see what I bought?"
"Oh, uh, sure."
