Wave's POV:

I can't do it this. I can't do this. No! I CAN do this! I can do this! Breathe!

My heart was racing as I stood in front of the door to Moon and her siblings' den. It had been a few days after the storm and I had decided that today I would take Moon to the library. My paw was hovering over the door, ready to knock. The sun had come out after the rain and despite the somewhat muddy and wet environment, it was a beautiful day. I finally made myself lower my paw and I knocked. After a few moments of silence the door was opened by Cupcake. When she saw me she immediately frowned.

"Oh. You." She hissed. "What do you want?"

I gave her a look of slight anger before I answered. "I'm here for Moon. I'm taking her to the library today. Something that a certain fairy type prevented us from doing a few days ago."

I knew I hit a nerve with that one. Cupcake growled and glared at me before she slammed the door on my face. I was not super surprised by her reaction, but I was still a little shocked. A few seconds later the door was opened again, this time by Moon. My first thought when I saw her was that she looked beautiful. She wore a satchel around her neck that was most likely used to carry books. Her fur was nice and kept and it almost seemed to shine. She also wore a red bow on ear ear that made her eyes and rings stand out more.

"Sorry about Cupcake." She said, closing the door behind her. "She still has....mixed feelings about the whole thing."

"She's fine. I get it. I don't particularly like her either. You ready?"

"Of course!"

We began walking towards town and I looked over at Moon. She looked so happy and I felt weird looking at her. I smiled at her and took the smallest step closer to her. If she noticed, she didn't say anything. The woods rang with the songs of flying type Pokémon. I watched a flock of Swallow fly from tree to tree and I smiled more.

"Beautiful day, isn't it?" I said, trying to start a conversation.

"It is. I love days after a storm. It's always so beautiful. Of course my favorite type of weather is a clear, cloudless night when the moon is big and full. What's yours?" Her eyes sparkled in the sunlight, like a pair of rubies in a beautiful, gleaming obsidian statue.

"My favorite type of weather or day or whatever is an overcast, cool, fall day. And when I say overcast, I mean it seems like it's going to rain, but it doesn't. Just feels like it is. My second favorite is a sunny day at the beach." I replied, happy to finally be showing Moon the Sunspire Library.

"Oh I love fall! It's my favorite season!"

"Really? Mine too!"

"That's awesome! What's your favorite thing about fall?" Moon looked at me, a large smile on her face.

"The temperature. And the food. I love Thanksgiving."

"Yeah. The temperature is just right in the fall, isn't it?"

"Yup."

By then we had made it to the bridge that lead into town. Walking across I waved to a group of Falinks. Or was it one Falink? I wasn't sure.

(Comment on weather you think it's Falink singular or Falinks plural!)

"Sunspire Library here we come!" I said once we stepped paw onto the stone road of the town.

Giggling, Moon said "Lead the way."

I grinned and began walking through town. I pointed out all my favorite shops and restaurants to her, telling her we should tour the town after we went to the library.
