Are we more than friends?

As long as we are just friends

At lunch denki saw shinsou by himself. He felt bad. He missed shinsou. Not just because he felt something for him but in general. He was a nice friend. He didn't say a word to denki. Or even look at him. He walked up to him shyly.

K- Hitoshi. Can I sit here?

S- kaminari. I told you already....

His voice sounded sad it make denki sad.

K- i know. And I understand. But just....10 minutes. Then I'll go I swear.

He stayed silent. Denki sat.

K- Hitoshi-

S- shinsou.

K- what?

S- you don't call me Hitoshi. You always called me shinsou.

K- oh um ok shinsou.....

He was careful with his words.

K- I just wanted to tell you. That I know why you don't wanna be friends with me anymore.

S- you do?

He sounded a little scared.

K- I can be pushy and annoying and this is all my fault-

S- what? No. Denki no.

He looked at denki. With his beautiful eyes. The first time in 2 days. Denki blushed.

S- denki. This is not your fault.

K- then why?

Shinsou wanted to tell him. He wanted to tell him everything.

S- you.....we're so different. And denki you made me alive again. I feel so happy and free when I'm with you.

K- yeah. Like things are easier.

S- exactly. And I wouldn't trade that for anything.

Held denkis hands tightly. He could feel the atmosphere growing smaller. The world went quiet.

K- I wanna be friends. With you. Please. Shinsou please.

Shinsou thought that as long as they were just friends it would be ok. He needs to get rid of his crush.

S- o-ok.

K- really?

S- yeah...fine...FRIENDS.

Denki let go of his hands.

K- thank god. Bye the way....you never told me you had insomnia or night terrors.

S- oh. Well it's not important.

K- I'll help you.

S- no it's fine.

K- I've got the friend pass.

S- hah i Guess.

K- well I have to see jirou after school. So we start tomorrow.

S- what are we starting exactly?

K- you'll see.
