I droped the book on the floor. In shock I started crying more. Izzy picked it back up.

I- when you were 12. You ran away. There was a villain but you told me that you could defeat him. You fell and hit your head. A young man...a pro hero saw you on the ground and found out where you lived from the police. He saved you from whatever was out there for a child. You didn't remember a thing.

S- azawia.....he.....he saved me.

I- this is why. He cares. Please shinsou...let him....i want to see you happy again. Please. Your mother would want you to be happy.

She hugged me.

S- what about-

I- I'm gonna be ok. The kids want you to be happy too.

S- I need to go. I need to see him.

She cupped my face.

I- you'll always be my son shinsou. And you can always call this place your home.

S- thanks mom.

I ran out of the house. I kissed denki.

K- where are you going?!

S- I'm sorry I'll meet you at the dorms!

I ran. It was windy and I ran with the wind in my hair 3 blocks to azawias place. I smiled while running. I was screaming his name the whole way there.

S- azawia!

People stared but I didn't care. I finally got there and knocked on the door frantically. He opened.

A- what are you doing here?

I hugged him. I was a sobbing mess. Today was very emotional. He brought me in and shut the door.

A- shhh what happened.

S- I'm sorry. I...I wanna be here. I wanna be apart of the family. Please.

A- hey it's ok shinsou. Breath....you were apart of my family the second I laid eyes on you all those years ago.

S- I don't wanna push you away anymore.

A- don't. I'm here shinsou. I'm not leaving.

He ran his fingers through my hair.

A- breath. You're full of adrenaline.

S- don't go.

I'm not sure why I said that but my inner child was the one who was speaking now.

S- don't leave me. I need someone anyone. I need a dad...,who won't hurt mom. Who....won't hurt me....

A- I'm not gonna hurt you...I promise. I'll be the parent you want me to be. I'm gonna try my best for you and eri.

I heard a door open from one of the rooms. It was present mic.

P- Hitoshi?

He hugged me and and azawia. I started shaking again.

A- breath......shinsou....breath....

My vision went blurry. I couldn't feel anything but warmth. The last voice I heard was azawia. He was singing our song

A- close your eyes...,have no fear....

I was sobbing until my legs gave out and everything else faded away.
