Ravenous uneasiness makes hunger thaw among tears.
A look into familiar eyes reveals flaws that resonate like an enemy's whisper.
Have been dancing in denial; it's fun--- try it.
Beauty foreseen, wiped clean, trained low self-esteem.
This growing desire is a must.
A chanting gleam that one trusts.
For all have chosen never to bend or forget.
Anger is never felt with regret.
A throbbing headache mocks the heart's warmth.
Ever pondered a solitary demise?
Isolation has been on the agenda.
Darkness, nothing but a friend... to you.
We are who we are-- those words are like hot knives upon butter.
Opting to forfeit the affection of those held dear.
Fractured, yet devoid of the will to repair...
A soul.
Selected toxicity which evolves into a blanket of mess,
That feeds one's rotten tongue-- Hah! Confess!
Spew shortcomings of others to bury self-hate.
Everyone's crying about how one has changed.
But none were there when the kingdom fell, right?
Even those who have whispered one will be alright.
When the world came granulating into pits of hell,
And then an empty shell crawled from the ashes.
Depression collapses inward like a contained explosion.
Blame them for never noticing.
And those who had are never enough.
Who does one lean on when no one understands?
Abandon me as I have abandoned you...
Depart to languish in sorrow and perpetually fail.
Become what's stressed most.
A nightmare filled to the brim, a phantom... a ghost.
Toxin casts a wish on all.
Dreams to pull the sun from the sky.
Hands the naive a gun to enthrall,
And finds humor in others' cry—does that satisfy?
Barely have a moment to catch breath...
Merely a quitter.
Grew so fucking cold, shut down, angry, a broken submitter--
Grew so fucking hateful, yeah call it... Bitter.
