Yunjin decided to take the group of girls out in New York for their last day of their winter vacation. It would've taken a day or more to travel from London to NYC, so they decided to apparate instead.
"Yun, I love you for taking us out here but we've been been walking and going into thrift stores for the past three hours." whined Pansy with a loud growl of her stomach. "And as much as I love shopping, I'd really wanna go somewhere to eat."
"You're in luck!" exclaimed Yunjin enthusiastically as she led the group in a cute cafe. They all let out a sigh as the warmth of the cafe took over their freezing bodies. They settled themselves at a table, a server immediately handing them a menu.
"Why's Weasley a no-show?" queried (Y/N) suddenly to the Gryffindor beside her, trying to keep her tone as nonchalant as possible.
"He doesn't like you very much." replied Hermione in a straightforward manner, scanning through the menu while Yunjin explained the different types of coffees to Ginny, who was more of a tea girl anyway. The older ginger suddenly dragged Ginny to an area in the cafe where you'd usually take pictures at, begging her to take pics of her, and she brought Pansy along cause the girl always gave her very detailed opinions and thoughts about her pics.
"You're smirking." stated the Gryffindor, noticing a cocky expression plastered on the Slytherin's face.
"I'm having a nice day." affirmed (Y/N) with a shrug, ruffling her hair.
"What do you want?" questioned Hermione, her eyes back on the menu.
"What do I want?" repeated (Y/N) with a playful tone. "I want you, Granger." she teased playfully with no hesitation.
"Has anybody ever told you that you're the most irritating person on Earth?" asked Hermione with an exhausted sigh, an unimpressed expression on her freckled face.
"Well, has anybody ever told you that you're the most beautiful person on Earth?" countered (Y/N) smoothly with a childish grin.
"You have in fact. You declare it everyday without a fail." hummed Hermione. "It's like an everyday struggle for me."
"I'm consistent." affirmed (Y/N) proudly.
"You're infuriating."
The Gryffindor slipped her hand in her coats pocket, pulling a red box out.
"Hey (Y/N)," nudged Hermione. "Have you ever tried Pocky? They're chocolate sticks." she explained, shaking the red box. "Wanna try?" she queried with a sweet smile.
"I'm not a fan of sweets." replied (Y/N), scrunching her nose slightly at the chocolate stick that the Gryffindor pulled out.
"Oh come on," protested Hermione.
"Fine."
"Say ahh.." instructed Hermione softly. The Slytherin obeyed and shut her eyes closed whereas her lips parted to take in the treat.
When (Y/N) felt a stick against her tongue, she fluttered her eyes open only to see a single chocolate stick being shared between the two of them, also noticing a sly smirk on the latter's face.
(Y/N)'s face grew hot even though it was snowing outside, her heart pumped as she watched Hermione nibble the chocolate stick, causing in her face inching closer to hers. Even though (Y/N) was supposed to have a treat, the way Hermione nibbled so little only tortured the girl, knowing that it'd take longer to reach her lips.
Hermione made sure to keep her eyes locked with the latter's, growing satisfied as (Y/N)'s bold demeanor faded, being replaced with a flustered one instead. The chocolate stick was nearly done, nibble after nibble until...
Crack
"Oops." smirked Hermione. "Too bad it broke." she said, letting out a giggle as though she did it on purpose. "Okay, try it for real. I promise I won't do anything."
(Y/N) could've spoken up and said that she wouldn't mind if she did anything and everything to her, but she held onto her last string of dignity. She gazed at the Gryffindor who had her eyes on the back of the red box, reading the ingredients as she munched on a chocolate stick.
Hermione was about to turn her head to (Y/N)'s direction, parting her mouth to speak, but she was quickly shut up with a pair of plump lips on hers. She felt her face grow immensely hot, the heat reaching her ears as the latter nibbled slightly on her bottom lip before pulling away.
"Mm," hummed (Y/N), squinting her eyes slightly as she thought about her opinion over the sweet. "I like it." she declared with a grin, looking at the Gryffindor who had her red face buried in her scarf.
Hermione didn't reply, because if she did she'd be a stuttering mess with how flustered she was. She really couldn't win against the Slytherin, huh? Even after she succeeded in making (Y/N) flustered, the latter beat her with barely any effort.
She didn't really mind though.
Maybe she would eat more sweets around (Y/N), if it meant that she'd get a kiss sweeter than the sweet itself.
