I woke up in a dark old room tied up with handcuffs on my wrists. I scanned the room to find Quartz, Aqua, Jade, and Ruby besides me. "Where are we" Jade yelled panicked. "Shh keep your voice down, do you want to die?" Aqua asked Jade. "Of course not" Jade replied. "Then be quiet or none of us are going to live" I butted in. I closed my eyes and tried to find something with my powers. "There's a key beneath Ruby's chair, Jade could get it." I said because Jade was closest to Ruby. Jade nodded her head and tried to use her powers to get the key. "Almost there" Jade said sprouting a vine right where the key was. Instead of resulting in the way she wanted it to it flicked up in the air passing Quartz. I quickly grabbed the key with my powers. "Alright now how exactly are you going to unlock the handcuffs?" Aqua asked me. "Shh Aqua let her focus" Ruby hushed her. I closed my eyes and imagined the key unlocking the handcuffs and all of us being free and safe, and just like that the handcuffs loosened from my hands. "Nice powers" Ruby said making me open my eyes to see everyone breaking through the rope holding them down, I quickly did the same. "As the smartest and the oldest I should be the one in charge" Quartz said. "Fine just hurry" Jade said. "Amethyst i'm assuming since you can scan for a key you can scan for guards, Jade you will be our distraction since you're still in your dress and heels, Ruby and Aqua and Amethyst after she done scanning will fight. Meanwhile I'll find a way out of here" Quartz explained. "Amethyst can you start us off?" Quartz asked me. I quickly floated and closed my eyes but my powers weren't working it felt like an interference like someone knew what we were doing. "Amy what's the hold up" Aqua asked me. "There's an interference I can't use my powers to scan the room" I exclaimed. "Just use your powers Amethyst it's not hard" Quartz yelled at me. Hearing those words made me so upset it felt as though a million daggers had stabbed into my heart like a piercing scream was making me weak. I looked down, Quartz could tell I was upset.  "Amy I didn't mean it like that" He said softer. "Quartz it is Amethyst to you, and you know what I don't even know why I feel guilty about hurting you on our hiking trip. When in reality it's your fault for wanting to make me mad in the first place and why are you being so rude to me" I blurted out covering my mouth after I said it. Quartz looked stunned. "Ruby and Amy come on it's our turn to fight" Aqua shouted. I was so angry but apparently I didn't know how angry I was because as soon as we came out to fight I felt the energy. The energy I feel before I lose control. I floated off the ground getting into a meditation position. The consciousness of my body split from me as I soared into the air. I went inside the guards body and ripped out his heart all of their hearts all the guards in the room had died. "Nice work" A voice behind us said. The guy looked familiar to familiar. "Follow me there is more to come" He said gesturing for us to follow him. I looked back at the guys just to realize they had already started following him. I sighed "What happened to not trusting strangers" I mumbled following after all of them.
