"Where have you been?"

"I'm sorry it took me so long to find you Everlynn but I'm here now. God, how I have missed you." Relief took over me as I turned to face my true love.

"I'm sorry but I can't go with you. I thought what me and you had was real, but I was wrong. Fletch is where my heart belongs." Her words echoed through my head.

"What?" I couldn't wrap my head around what she was saying to me.

"You let me go and in return I let you go. We just aren't meant to be anymore..." she turned her back to me, walking away.

Everything around me started to fade to black leaving me broken and confused. This had to be a dream, a nightmare.

"Wait!" I screamed so loud I woke myself.

"Son of a bitch..." I sat up with sweat dripping from my hair.

I had been passing through town after town trying to find some hint of where she was, but no luck had come my way thus far. I'm not even sure what town I'm in at the moment. I do know I'm in some run-down hotel with cracks connecting the ceiling and floor through the wall. Shaking the dream off I stood to my feet making my way to the sink that seemed oddly placed by the front door.

"Well shit." I muttered as I tried to turn the water on only to find out the fucking water didn't even work in this place.

I froze as I heard heavy footsteps coming down the hall to my room.

BANG! BANG!

"We know you're in there!" a deep voice yelled through the door at me.

Quietly I made my way back to the bed, pulling my sword from underneath.

"Bust it open." Another voice demanded.

With one loud crash, pieces of the door went flying past me. I ready myself for a fight, but I had no clue what or who I was even up against.

"Kymber?" her name even felt odd coming out of my mouth.

"Hello Alec." she grinned at me propping herself up on what was left of the door frame.

A larger guy accompanied her. One of his eyes seemed to be scarred causing it to look like it had been scratched out some time ago.

"You should know something about broken door frames and hinges, huh?" she laughed.

"What are you doing here?" my guard was still up and ready for an attack.

"I'm here to simply deliver a message, Back off. Stop looking for her." her face became angry, stepping forward trying to intimidate me.

"You know I can't do that." I gripped my sword tighter.

"She doesn't want you, in fact her and Fletch intend to have children. Well, that's what I assume considering they stay locked up in their room and let me tell you she is not a quiet one is she? Moaning all the time and all." Her voice turned sinister, and her smile twisted into a dark laugh.

"You lie! She would never do that to me. She loves me just like I love her!" I could feel anger build up inside of me so intensely I knew I was about to explode.

"Wrong!" she yelled back at me while walking closer to me, standing straight in front of me at this point.

"She doesn't even know who you are! So how in love is that exactly?" she started to laugh.

Hearing enough of what she had to say I swiftly brought my sword up over my head, forcing it to crash down where she was standing. Dirt and debris flew up not revealing if my hit was a miss or spot on.
