It's been a couple weeks since I've seen her. I'm starting to wonder if that night was all in my head...

"Pay attention!" Leo snapped at me.

Leo was a trainer in some sort. He thought he was all that and no one could stand against him, but I knew he wouldn't even be a challenge for me. Fletch had me along with a few other special fighters taking lessons from this joke to prepare for a battle that was coming our way.

"Maybe if you would actually teach something useful, I would pay attention." I smarted back to him.

"What the fuck did you just say to me?" I seemed to have hit a nerve.

"I knew your teachings sucked but I had no clue you also had a hearing problem." I stepped up to him.

"Fight it out." Fletch's voice echoed through the training gym.

I looked over to see him walking in the room, his hands behind his back as always, his face wearing a smile.

"Whatever you say King." Leo readied himself for a fight.

"Hmm..." I stepped up in front of everyone, not taking him as a threat, I stood there in front of him with my arms crossed.

"Say the word your majesty." Leo called out.

"Fight." Fletch seemed to be entertained.

Without wasting a second Leo jumped in the air, spinning his body around to place a kick to my face. To everyone's surprise I grabbed his foot only inches from making contact. Using the momentum, he had already built up I slung his body into the wall, making a cracking sound as he hit my target with such force. I turned around with my arms crossing once more. Leo stood to his feet; his face red with anger while his body tensed up in hatred for me. He walked over to the swords which hung from the wall that his body had just hit. My arms uncrossed as I realized he was aiming to kill me at this point. I prepared myself for a real fight this time. He lunged at me with the sword snug in his hand. I dodged his swings, using my hands to deflect the blade from my body. He began to stumble which allowed me to jump in the air, twisting my body around as I jumped over him. Without looking at him I grinned. With rage leading him he once again started running toward me, sword still in hand. As he approached me, I quickly stepped to the side, throwing him off balance in which time I grabbed his arm that wielded the sword, twisting it forward forcing his feet to leave the ground as he flipped over landing on his back.

"You done or do I just need to kill you now?" I asked as I stood over him.

He nodded his head in defeat. I turned to walk away when suddenly, I heard footsteps running at me. Without having time to turn around I moved to the left grabbing Leo by the neck as he missed his mark, breaking it with no effort.

"Now why did you do that?" Fletch chuckled.

"Don't try to fool me. You knew this is how it was going to end. Glad I could entertain you." I walked past him and out the door.

I started making my way to my room to clear my head when I saw Everlynn turn the corner towards me. She looked up, her eyes locked with mine. We both froze for only a few seconds when she turned around and started running in the opposite direction.

"Everlynn!" I called out as I took off after her.

I turned the corner so fast I almost fell to the ground. She was fast but I was still faster. I grabbed her arm and spun her around to me.

"Why would you run from me?" I whispered out of breath.

"Everything I know seems to fall apart when I'm with you. Like I don't know a dream from reality." Her eyes held confusion.
