It had been about three days since Kymber, and I hooked up. Every time I see Kymber, she is all over me. She thinks we actually have a relationship, which is good on Fletch's part but honestly sucks on mine. I still play along to see if maybe she is playing both sides. I got up from my bed, making my way out of my room and towards the gym. I heard giggles echoing down the hall. I kept my eyes to the floor until I started to recognize one of the laughs. It was Everlynn, but who was she cracking up with?

"Aleena? What the fuck?" I whispered as I saw both of them walking my way, paying no attention to anything but themselves.

"Oh. Aleena let's just go this way." Everlynn had spotted me standing in the middle of the hallway just staring at her.

"Wait... What are you doing here?" I was confused about seeing one of the old misfits that Everlynn used to take care of.

"Um... I'm sorry but I just have one of those faces that everyone seems to know. I'm Aleena. I'm new to the castle and Everlynn's new help." She stuck her hand out for me to shake it like we had never met before.

I looked over at Everlynn. Her eyes avoiding me. I just shook Aleena's hand, not quite understanding what the hell was going on.

"Let's go Aleena." Everlynn hurried her past me.

I shook my head thinking I was losing my mind or the drugs from the party had really fucked me up. With questions filling my head I finally made it to the training area. I saw Fletch observing everyone's improvement from the corner of the room. I walked over to him, taking my place next to him.

"You sure did move fast with Kymber." He leaned against the wall, his eyes still concentrating on the trainees.

"It wasn't my plan to ever fuck her, just kind of happened that way." I followed his lead and propped up against the wall.

"Is there a reason you aren't training with the others today?" He was gearing up for a lecture.

"We both know there is nothing any of them could possibly teach me, but while we are throwing questions around, is there any reason you brought Aleena here? You understand how stupid that was, right?" I looked over at him, but his stare never left the action in front of him.

"Everlynn needed someone. Aleena will start training with the Leo tonight. She is a decent fighter, and we could use that. Look, I know you want to believe I don't feel for anyone, but I have feelings for Everlynn. I don't want to see her depressed all the time and plus it makes for crappy sex." I could tell he cared but I didn't know if it was actually for Everlynn or for the blood that filled her veins.

"Do you love her?" The words left my mouth before I could stop them.

He looked over at me, annoyed. "No. I don't love anyone and if you know what is best for you then you don't love anyone either." Giving me a subtle warning, he walked away from me and out the door.

I dismissed myself from training, making my way to the garden's waterfall. The sun was setting which painted a breath-taking view above in the sky. With the fight coming soon Fletch stopped with all the snow, leaving the air feeling like a crisp fall. I started walking along the edge of the water. I finally felt like my body, my mind was breaking down. I could hear the rushing water plummeting down the waterfall growing louder as I made my way closer.

"Everlynn..." I whispered her name when my eyes saw her already standing at the edge of the water.

The breeze gripped her hair. She was covered with a long robe that lay on the ground at her feet when the wind wasn't picking it up.

"What... are you okay?" I spoke a little louder this time hoping not to startle her.

She glanced over in my direction without actually looking at me.
