"Fuck! It's cold as shit!" Quinn's breath showing as he damned the cold.

I looked around seeing nothing but white. Mountains of white, flawless snow.

"Are you sure you got us where we needed to be?" I was confused.

"Dude, I know what I'm doing." Quinn rubbed his hands together hoping for some type of warmth.

"It's not supposed to snow here." I voiced my concerns.

"That is exactly what they say in the south, but you know what man, shit happens." Quinn not taking my concern seriously.

"Let's just find the fucking castle." I started walking up the hill hoping the other side was our destination.

"Well, there it is. Our death that is. You know we are as good as gone when we step foot in that place." Quinn tried to talk sense into me.

"I know. We both won't get out. If you help me get in, I promise I will get you out." I looked down on the enormous snow-covered castle.

"So that's it? You are ready to just die? Without accomplishing anything." Quinn matched my stare of the castle.

"He won't kill me, Quinn... He owns me." my voice started to crack.

"What?" Quinn sounded shocked.

"I didn't sell my soul to a regular witch. She was working for Fletch. I sold my soul to Fletch." I could feel Quinn looking at me with shock.

"Get me in the castle." I requested.

Without saying another word, I felt his hand on my shoulder and just like that we were teleporting once again. I closed my eyes as time seemed to slow down. Flashes of memories flooded my mind. Allowing me to see her face happy, with me... Why did it have to be this way? Why were we not meant to live happily with each other? Grow together.

"Alec? Snap out of it!" Quinn pulled at my shirt bringing me back to reality.

"S... Sorry." I whispered.

"Okay the best I can tell is we are in some type of garden area in the castle." he whispered back to me while looking around a tree that hid us both from sight.

This place was huge. Huge didn't even cover how big this castle was. I looked around, scanning the area for any guards. Flowers, trees, statues, and well cared for bushes covered the area neatly, not crowded but peacefully. I could hear the noise of water running, like a stream of some sort. Back to a wall in the garden we were both trying to scope out the area the best we could around the big freaking tree.

"I don't see anyone. Do you?" Quinn whispered.

"No, let's keep going. There is a door to our right of us. Do you see it?" I quietly nudged him.

"Yeah. I see it." Quinn stepped out from behind the tree almost crouching as he hastily made his way to the door.

I followed behind him trying to keep an eye on our backs. With both of us on each side of the door I ever so slightly grabbed the knob, turning it gently.

"It's open." Quinn started looking through the cracked door.

With Quinn looking at me and nodding that the coast was clear I continued through the doorway and making it inside. The room looked like a gathering hall or a ballroom area. The floor was like gold and the walls were white with extraordinary paintings that reached all the way to the ceiling. Looking around this area seemed to be empty as well, which I found odd. Why not have guards in these areas? My questions were cut short as I glanced to the left to see two thrones. One for him and one for... her. I felt my heart skip a beat thinking for a split second this could be a mistake.
