Chapter 10

Mattys POV
I sat in the back of the cab with kat and looked out the window. I watched as the sky went from baby blue, to a dark grey. I looked at my phone and checked the time. 9:30. once we came to a stop, I got out and slung the bag over my shoulder, waiting for kat after I payed the cab driver. after a second, I looked in the back seat to only find her asleep. I opened the door, and gently picked her up. I shut the door and watched as the cab left sight. I heard a slight mumble, and her arms warped around my neck. I held her close as I checked into the hotel. the man gave me the key, and a strange look. I just shrugged and went to the elevator with kat. once we reached the top floor, I carried kat and our things to our room. I stepped inside and shut the door behind me and placed our things on the floor. still holding the sleeping body, I glanced down at her. I could tell why Oliver liked her so much, but I knew better. he'd just use her as a booty call. (A/N: I don't think Oliver would really do that but I guess in the story he does) I walked over to the bed and laid kat down. as her head hit the pillow, her eyes opened. this girl is strange, but I like it. "ello, love. " I said sitting down next to her. she just sat up and smiled. "what time is it?" She questioned getting up. I pulled my phone out and glanced at the the white numbers. "10:09" I said and she frowned. I just chuckled. "I'm going to change." she said grabbing her back. "ok." I said as she walked into the bathroom. I sat there and felt my phone vibrate.

I felt anger boiling in me. who is he to tell me what to do.
I didn't bother to talk back.
Kat stepped out of the bathroom wearing a tight shirt and a skirt. "what the hell are you wearing!?" I laughed as she pouted. "I'm never letting you pick my cloths again." she said looking obviously uncomfortable. "here." I said pulling a t-shirt from my bag. I handed it to her and she smiled. she walked back into the bathroom to change. I ordered pizza as she came back out. the shirt came to her mid thigh and she smiled. "looks good on you." I said and she just blushed. " I ordered a pizza. Are you hungry?" I asked and she just nodded. "do you wanna watch a movie?" I asked and her eyes lit up. "yes!" I pulled out a scary movie. I love horror movies. I put it in and there was a nock at the door. I went over to see who it was. I opened the door and smiled. "oi, thanks mate!" I said paying and giving a tip. he smiled and nodded. "no problem. " he said and walked away as I shut the door. I walked over to kat and we ate.

After the movie kat was terrified. most of the movie she spent looking at my shirt, and me holding her."dint turn off the lights yet." she said and ran to the bed like a kid. I laughed and just smiled at the the beautiful girl in front of me. I walked over to the light switch and flicked it off. I walked to the couch and pulled off my shirt and pants, leaving me in just my boxers. I laid down and drifted to sleep

I woke up to the sound of kat sleep talking. "no.." She mumbled. "no!" She almost yelled. I quickly got up and walked over to kat, who was tossing and turning. "kat, kat ,love, its alright." I cooed and she bolted up, panting. I rubbed her back. she looked at me with fear deep in her eyes. once she noticed it was me, a small smile formed on her lips. I just rubbed her back and kissed her forehead. She smiled and I started to go back to the couch, until a small hand grabbed mine. she gave a pleading look, and scooted over, still not letting go of my hand. I gladly accepted and got under the covers. her fingers interlaced with mine and I wrapped my arms around her waist. she mumbled something that I didn't quite understand and fell asleep. I soon was asleep to.

I woke up to fine kat still in my arms. she had her hands on my bare chest and her face was buried in the crook of my neck. I smiled down at the sight.
"Kat, love it's time to get up." I said half awake. her eyes fluttered open and she smiled. I slowly bent down and planted a small kiss on her lips causing her to blush. "hey kat?" I asked nervously fiddling with the blanket. "yes Matty?" She said looking up at me with those gorgeous brown eyes. "I was wondering after the show and you pack up the merch table, if you wanted to go get dinner?" I asked butting my lip and her eyes sparkled with delight. "Yes!" She said wrapping me into a hug. I gladly excepted and kissed her cheek. "well we better get going." I said as we dressed. She just nodded and put her red hair into a bun. tonight was going to Ba amazing. and nothing Oliver says can ruin it.
