Regret Flows (Frerard)

Author's Note (Intro)

Hello Friends,

I've been looking to get back into writing, so I thought why not dive back into thirteen year old me and write some Frerard. I kept the chapters short, around 1500-2000 words each, so it's less of a commitment to start a new one; whether that's good or bad for the reader, I don't know. Personally, my favorite Frerard is called 'First of the Gang to Die' by UnitedSuck007 on FicWad, and that thing has some l o n g chapters. If you haven't read it, I seriously recommend it as it shaped my young adolescent mind into the shit show it is now. No, but seriously it's really good. If you have read it, you'll probably catch onto some heavy influences it had on this fic, which were unintentional, however impossible to escape due to the fact that it lives rent free in my mind every single second of every single day. *sighs*

I wrote the overwhelming majority, if not the entirety of Regret Flows, between the hours of 12am and 4am as I am nocturnal, so just disregard anything that wouldn't make sense to someone with a fully functioning brain.

The name of the fic was originally Young and Doomed, but I changed it to Regret Flows because I just really like the way it sounds, also bonus points for anyone who knows where I got it from. I chose to not name where the story takes place, which is harder than it sounds, but this way you can adapt them to wherever you'd like. I'd love it if you let me know where you see it happening in your mind because everyones imagination is so unique, and I just think it'd be cool.

About Regret Flows:

-There is smoking, self harm, substance abuse, physical abuse, sexual assault, and of course, smut. If any of these things may be a trigger for you, turn away now because this is my fic and I'll ruin the young minds of the emo youth as I please.

-I portray certain characters as horrible humans, which does not align with the way I see them irl. For example, I portray Mikey as an absolute cunt in the story, but irl I think he's a lovely little cupcake and I respect him dearly, so don't give me any shit for that. It's a FanFIC.

-I used song titles as chapter titles. I do not own the rights to the songs and am not affiliated with any of the bands used, however I do think you should listen to all of the songs, they're all very good. If you're somehow affiliated with one of the bands, please don't sue me, I'm just a loser who likes your stuff.
