Chapter 20

Hyunjins pov

Felix slept for maybe two hours before he started to stir. Concerned I grab onto him as I watch him roll over opening his eyes to meet mine. "Hi" he says lowly still trying to wake himself up. "Hi there" I say back leaning down landing a kiss on his nose. Smiling back at me he brings his lips to mine as we both yearn for the taste of the other. 

Pulling away we hear a small knock on the door, Chan enters in with his hand over his eyes "everyone decent" he asks laughing. Sitting up I respond "yes Chan everyone is clothed". He makes his way over the bed sitting down next to Felix bringing his hand over laying on top of his legs. "How are you feeling" Chan asks still very concerned about Felix.

Felix sits up and nods his head "much better" he says before bowing his head to Chan "I am so sorry Chan I told Hyunjin not to tell you please don't be mad at him. Be mad at me I'm the one who messed things up" he quickly gets out. Chan moving closer to Felix embracing him in a hug "hey come on Felix don't worry all that matters to us is that you are happy and healthy" Chan says giving Felix a tight squeeze.

Coming out the hug Felix grabs my hand and looks back at me "I really am sorry to worry you both. I promise I'll start to eat and be healthy" he says looking back at Chan and myself.

"About that" Chan starts "I talked to management and they want to send you to rehab Felix" he finishes hanging his head low. I can Felix shake at the thought of rehab. "Please no Chan please let me try to get better myself please I'll go see the nutricionist please anything but rehab" Felix pleads with Chan.

"I will talk to them BUT you have to promise to get better please for your health and for mine I'm not sure how much more I can take of this" he jokingly says. "Yes yes I promise please let me try" Felix calls out.

"Fine. They won't be happy but I will be since that means you don't have to leave us" Chan says smiling back at both of us.

"I have to go pick up the boys I left down town. I told them what happened. I don't want you to worry, they love you just as much so please don't Felix but no more lies I want everyone on the same page" Chan says before giving both of us a small hug and leaving out the door.

Felix slumps down into the bed after Chan leaves and pulls the covers up over his head. I laugh at the small boy and start pulling the covers back down. "Don't hide from me Felix" I say lightly still searching for the blonde hair angel in the covers.

He pops his head out from under the covers and looks up at me "can we eat" he asks me. Surprised at his sudden appetite I nod and grab his hand as we make our way down stairs. Looking through the fridge I find just enough ingredients to make us both omelets. 

Felix sits on the counter behind me watching me as I turn on the stove and start cracking and whisking the eggs. "What do you want in your omelet Lix" I ask him. He looks over my shoulders and hums "hmmmm cheese and ham and onion please". I nod and start folding in the boys toppings flipping the now done omelet onto a plate I turn around and cut a piece off for him. Blowing on the egg making sure it wasn't too hot I bring the fork to his gape mouth as he devours the egg straight off the utensil.

"Is it good" I ask him smiling loving the way he chews. Nodding he says "this is the best omelet I've ever had".

We finish eating our meal and make our way outside to the back yard. Noticing now they installed and swinging bed, Felix and I lay down on it. Both turned looking at the other I come down and grab his hand. "Felix can we talk" I ask looking deep into his crown orbs.

Nodding up and down I continue "I want you to always tell me the truth. Did me leaving the dorm make you like this" I ask wincing not ready for his answer. "Yes and no" he says lowly "I had this happen to me back in grade school when I was getting bullied but when you left me hyung it felt like I was empty inside" he says bringing his hand to the side of my face "I don't want you to go and blame yourself please this was out of your control but no matter what I did that hole lingered inside of me. It felt like nothing mattered anymore since my happiness was already gone".

"I started by forcing myself to throw up but then I noticed my voice changing from doing it so often so then I tried starving myself and little by little the less I ate the smaller the hole inside of me felt" he continues "it really wasn't until I collapsed that I realized nothing I could do would ever bring you back to fill that place again" he says lowering his gaze.

"I can't apologize enough Felix. When management told me I had to stop talking to you and moving me out I felt like my world shifted. I couldn't focus on anything but being sad" I started tearing up a little bit "I never wanted to leave you. I hurt me every day not coming back to the dorm with you. I just want you to know that no matter what management says I will not let that happen again. Even if I have to quit and leave the group" I say. Felix shocked looking back up at me "you can't do that Hyunjin you love being in the group so much" he states.

Leaning in closer to the angel in front of me I say "yes but I love you so much more".

The guys join us outside lounging around the pool as Seungmin starts playing music over the speakers. Staying in this bliss it soon turns dark out. "Oh do you guys wanna have a bonfire" Han asks looking around at all of. We agree so some of the boys bring out the grill and light it. "Do we have marshmallows" Minho asks Chan like he's got all the answers. Huffing Chan goes inside and coming back out with all the necessary ingredients for s'mores.

All of us bundled up around the fire roasting our marshmallows and talking about all the things the boys did today in town. A sudden chime of my phone gets my attention, looking down at the new notification it's from the mug shop letting me know our mugs are finished and we can pick them up in the morning. Placing the message in front of Felix he gets very excited.

After a few more stories were told all of us start making our way back inside and up to our rooms. Laying down on the bed Felix climbs on top of me. Quickly getting up shushing him I say "ah ah the doctor said no strenuous activity". Watching as Felix pouts but then his pouting face then turns into a mischievous grin. Pinning me back down he says "fine the doctor says no activity for me but that doesn't mean we can't do other things".
