It was a warm summer day. The birds were chirping and the sky was a beautiful, almost impressive, shade of blue.

The prince of the Moon Kingdom, Muichiro Tokito, was sitting in the garden talking with a crow he had met there.

The crow's name was Ginkgo. He named her after the many ginkgo trees that grew in the kingdom.

"Nii-chan!" a young voice called out to Muichiro. "Mom and Dad want to talk to you!"

Muichiro sighed, albeit a bit curious as to why his parents needed to see him. Muichiro got up from his spot and made his way to the castle. Ginkgo perched on his shoulder, staring judgementaly at anyone who dared to look in their direction.

Muichiro reached the throne room which his parents were in and greeted them formally. His parents did the same and exchanged glances, as if they were unsure of something.

"Why did you call me here?" Muichiro calmly asked his parents. They once again exchanged glances.

"We have something to tell you. Regarding your future and the kingdom's." his mother said hesitantly. "What is it?" Muichiro asked as he was now curious, though he had an idea.

"Well, we figured out a way to stop the war between the Sun kingdom and our's." his father said.

The war had been going on for at least three centuries, almost four. One of the early rulers of the Moon Kingdom had a twin, who ruled the Sun Kingdom. The two clashed, causing a war to break out. Both Kingdoms had been trying to find a way to end the war, so hearing that they finally figured out a way... it was incredible.

"How?" Muichiro inquired, wanting to know how the war could stop. Even if it was only momentarily, anything he could do to help was better than nothing.

Both of his parents looked hesitant to tell him and Muichiro was starting to get rather impatient.

"The way is... um... having you marry the eldest of the Sun Kingdom." his mother hesitantly informed her son.

"So you're making me marry someone I don't even know?!" the prince exclaimed. "I'm sorry Muichiro. It was the only way." the queen apologized.

Muichiro took a deep breath and told himself that being upset would get him nowhere. "What is their name?" he asked.

"His name is Tanjiro Kamado." his father answered. "I see... Thank you for telling me." Muichiro responded courtly. "I'm glad you understand, Muichiro. And we're sorry again." the queen told him.

Muichiro nodded and was about to leave when the King stopped him from leaving by saying that he was going to live in the Sun Kingdom with prince Tanjiro in two weeks.

After the king told him that, Muichiro bowed and went upstairs to his room.

Muichiro sat down at his desk and did some the work that his private tutor assigned for him to do before their next lesson.

It was all too easy for him. Muichiro was a prodigy and all the work given to him seemed to easy. When he was younger, him and his twin, Yuichiro, would study together.

Unfortunately, Yuichiro married into the Flame Kingdom so they didn't see each other much anymore. At least he had Kotetsu.

Speaking of Kotetsu, Muichiro's door burst open and his younger brother came running into his room.
