I quickly arrived at the destination, standing on the edge of the cliff where the cold wind became even more piercing. Hu Yijian couldn't help but shiver, his nose running, and anxiously asked me, "Brother Wei, weren't we here to set traps? Why are we here? It's getting dark; let's go back."

"Ask me why we're here?" I smiled and glanced at him. "Do you think your two attempts to kill me are just going to be forgotten?"

Upon hearing this, Hu Yijian trembled in fear, staring at me and saying, "Brother Wei, don't joke, I can't handle being scared."

"Do you think I'm joking?" I sneered.

"You can't do this! The rescue team will come soon, and you'll end up in jail!" Hu Yijian shouted loudly.

"Jail? He accidentally fell off the cliff. What's that got to do with me?" I smirked.

"Brother Wei, please, we can negotiate. I'll give you money, one million, okay? As long as you leave this island, I'll give you one million immediately..." Hu Yijian frantically proposed a deal.

Before he could finish, I ignored him, swung the military shovel, and aimed it at him. Hu Yijian let out a scream of despair, realizing the life-or-death situation, and struggled madly with me.

However, he had already exhausted himself from digging holes and climbing the mountain in the afternoon, now braving the cold wind. He was no match for me.

With my spirits high, I quickly kicked him off the cliff. Watching his figure disappear rapidly, I took a deep breath, feeling my hands tremble slightly. This was the first time I had killed someone.

"He forced me into this. If I didn't kill him today, sooner or later, he would have harmed me!" I comforted myself in my mind repeatedly, feeling a bit calmer. I had deliberately chosen not to shoot him. If the rescue team really came, finding him shot would make it hard for me to explain. Now, with him falling off the cliff, there was no evidence linking it to me.

Back in the cave, I told everyone that Hu Yijian, exhausted from climbing, had accidentally fallen off the cliff.

Though I believed I was not in the wrong – Hu Yijian had tried to kill me twice, so why couldn't I kill him? – deep down, I felt a bit guilty. I didn't want everyone to be afraid of me, so I pretended to look remorseful.

"It's better that this guy is dead. He tried to kill Xiao Wei twice; it's karma. Even if he were outside, he was already a attempted murderer, destined to spend a lifetime in prison!" Su Jie walked over, hugging my head to comfort me.

Her embrace was initially meant to console me, but she sensed that something was wrong. In a moment of carelessness, my head ended up between her well-proportioned peaks.

The soft touch made my heart race, and I took a deep breath, catching a faint fragrance of milk in the air. Sensing my reaction, Su Jie blushed, released me, and with a blend of resentment and tenderness in her eyes, she said, "This waste brought it upon himself."

"This guy's carelessness; he can only blame himself." Xu Xiaorong expressed her dissatisfaction.

Li Lin nodded silently. Watching everyone's reactions, I felt relieved. Hu Yijian's behavior in recent days had made everyone dislike him, and he was truly a troublemaker in our group. Moreover, those who saw through his true nature wouldn't sympathize with him. Only Peggy, with a hint of contemplation, glanced at me a few times but remained silent.
