The next day, charlie and his older sister tori gets off the bus, charlie walks next to tori while texting Nick, and tori looks over at charlies phone and smiles

"Texting Nick again?" she asks while taking a sip of orange juice

Charlie looks up from his phone and over to tori

"Well, yeah, he's my boyfriend?" Charlie says

"I didn't know Nick was so dependent on you," she chuckles

"Tori!! Nick can't help it. it's not his fault he has -"

Tori cuts him off while patting his shoulder

"I know I was only joking," she chuckles

"Good!!"

The two siblings chuckle before parting their ways. Tori going to Harvey Greene Grammar School for Girls, commonly referred to as "Higgs" and charlie going to truham

Higgs is an all-girls school through year 11 and accepts students of all genders in sixth form, much like Truham

Charlie sits at the usual place where him and Nick meet up, charlie pulls out his phone and waits for Nick to come over

After about five minutes, charlie sees Nick getting out of his mums car and walking over to charlie while smiling

Nick hugs charlie tight as he does that charlie kisses his head and looks up at him

"You alright?" He asks gently

"Now I am!" Nick smiles

They both share a conversation before making their way to form. They both sit down smiling, Nick resting his head on charlies shoulder, and charlie resting his head on nicks

After school, the two boys make their way over to nicks house while holding hand and talking and laughing

Nick opens the front door and walks in, nellie, nicks border collie running over and Henry, his pug, waddling behind

"Hey, nell!" Nick says, crouching down and stroking her back

Henry finally catches up and tries to get nicks attention

"Yes, I can see you, Henry." Nick chuckles and strokes henry

Nellie runs off into the living room and is lying down with Mr penguin in her mouth

Mr. Penguin was nicks childhood stuffed animal that nellie stole when she was a puppy, and since then, it's been Nellie's special toy

Soon after, Henry joins her and lays on her back, then Nick stands up

"Wanna go to my room?" Nick asks

Both boys look at each other, quickly kick their shoes off, and chuck their bags on the floor before running up to Nick's room

Charlie flops onto nicks bed, and Nick shuts his door, takes off his blazer, then flops next to him, they looks over at each other, then gently kiss

"Hi," Nick says, his voice small and gently just barely a whisper

"Hi," charlie replies in the same tone

They kiss gently again before charlie sits up and against the headboard, Nick looks at charlie confusedly but sits next to him

"Nick?" He asks

"Yeah," Nick says, leaning on charlie

"Um about yesterday -"

"We don't have to talk about it," Nick says, turning away a little embarrassed

"We should talk about it, baby," charlie says, taking Nick's hand, reassuring him

"We don't have to it was really awkward.." Nick says

"It wasn't," charlie smiles a bit. "I think in my opinion that was number one really hot number two really cute that you did it on call"

Nick blushes even more, going crimson red, and covers his face

"No, it wasn't." Nick chuckles slightly,

Charlie gently moves nicks hands away from his face, then kisses the tip of his nose

"I think we should talk properly about what we want when it comes to doing more than kissing," charlie says

Nick froze slightly at that unsure of how to reply

"I know tyler never gave you that freedom to do so, so just for you to know, I'm ready for everything, so we'll go at your pace, okay?" Charlie says kisses nicks head

Nick smiles and nods, feeling a bit more at ease

"Does that sound good?" He asks

"Yeah," Nick smiles

Nick hugs charlie tight

"Thank you" he says
