A/N: I don't really have anything to say, I know I don't have to do authors notes every chapter and I will try not to. Cause maybe some of you might find that annoying. I just feel like I should say something but idk what.
Also most fics I have read recommend songs so I might do that, I highly recommend listening to: "Paris, Texas" by Lana del Rey (feat. SYML.) I feel like that song really fits in with this chapter. ___________________________________ Bucky's POV:
Bucky wakes up to the sound of Alpine meowing. "Yeah, yeah. I'll feed you just give me a minute." Bucky groans and sits up.
Bucky checks his phone, when he moved into the tower Tony gave him a phone and taught him how to use it, said he had to: "Stay in with the times." At first the whole internet thing confused Bucky but over time he's gotten use to it. He finds google helpful when he wants to find out something.
The time on his phone reads 9:38, he slept in for once, he also didn't have any nightmares last night, that's the first time in a long time that's happened to him.
Alpine meows again but more loudly. "I'm coming, I'm coming, jeez." Bucky gets up from his bed and walks over to the cupboard and pulls out a box of cat food. He walks over and puts it into her bowl, he also tops up her water bowl with fresh water.
"Happy now милашка?" Bucky looks down at Alpine as she gobbles down her food.
Bucky sighs and then gets dressed into a blue Henley and black jeans, then pulls on a pair of black socks then his boots.
He walks up to the mirror and looks into it, he's debating tying up his hair today. He normally ties up his hair when it's in the way like for a mission or when it's windy. He doesn't have a mission and he isn't planning on going out. Plus he likes his hair today. He didn't even brush it he just ran his fingers through to style it a little, it's messy and also really curly and fluffy today.
His hair is naturally curly but when he brushes it, it brushes away the curls. When he was younger he used to put gel in his hair to keep it in one place so it wasn't going haywire, he still does it sometimes but mainly for a fancy event. He decides he's not going to tie his hair up, but keeps a hair tie around his wrist just incase he changes his mind.
He walks over to Alpine, who is now sitting on the edge of the bed looking like she owns the place, (she does.) he pets her then gives her a kiss on the head. "Be good." Alpine mewls softly and it makes Bucky smile, then he leaves the room.
He walks down the hallway, then into the kitchen to make himself breakfast. He decides to make himself a proper meal today. Bucky normally just eats when he really needs to, but today is a good day, and when it's one of those he normally takes good care of himself. He can be quite harmful to himself sometimes, like not letting himself eat properly or sleep properly. He punishes himself sometimes for the things he did as the Winter Soldier.
