Auroras POV:
Aurora rolls over to try cuddle Bucky but feels an empty space beside her. She opens her eyes and sees Buck isn't in bed with her. She looks around and notices Bucky isn't anywhere to be seen.
"James?" She calls out.
Suddenly Bucky walks into the room holding a tray. "Good morning beautiful, I made you breakfast in bed." He walks over and places the tray on her lap, he kisses her forehead.
Aurora watches as Bucky sits down next to her. "How did you sleep?"
"Really good actually, that was the first time I was able to fall asleep after a nightmare." Bucky says.
Aurora looks down at the tray to see what Bucky made her. She sees: scrambled eggs, sausages, beans, toast and a glass of apple juice. "This looks wonderful, thank you for making it."
"I just wanted to surprise you this morning, and talking about surprises. I bumped into your mother this morning and we talked a little and I suggested taking you and her out to a picnic?" Bucky suggests.
Aurora takes a bite of one of the sausages. "That sounds good."
Bucky puts an arm around Aurora. "I love you.
Aurora chews on the bit of toast she's eating and swallows. "I love you too." Aurora offers a bit of toast to Bucky. "Do you want some?"
He shakes his head. "I'm fine, thank you princess, I already had breakfast."
Aurora finishes her breakfast and burps, and that causes her to giggle. "Pardon."
Bucky smiles. "You're adorable."
Aurora chuckles and wipes her face with a napkin. "And you're handsome."
Bucky takes the tray back from her. "I'm going to make the picnic for later, how about you get dressed while I do that?"
Aurora nods, she gets up and heads over to her wardrobe to look out an outfit. She waves Bucky goodbye for the time being as he leaves the room. She picks out a yellow dress with short puffy sleeves and a two thin strings that she ties into a bow. She matches her dress with yellow flats that have a red gem on the top of them and she also magics a tulip into her hair.
She heads to where her mother is staying in the tower and knocks on the door. Her mother opens the door and comes out. "Are you ready for the picnic mother?"
Frigga nods, and Aurora leads her to the smallish kitchen they were in yesterday for breakfast. They see Bucky making some sandwiches. Bucky smiles when he sees Aurora, he finishes making the food and packs it into a bag along with some drinks.
He strides over to Aurora, his walk silent but powerful. His hips sway slightly as he walks, Aurora has always found his walk weirdly sexy. It's like he's always got somewhere to be even when he doesn't.
