A/N: I know nothing about Coney Island I've tried to do my research but I'll apologise now for anything wrong. Plus I've never been there clearly cause ik nothing about it. ___________________________________ Bucky's POV:
Bucky wakes up in the middle of the night breathing heavily, he had another nightmare. Recently it's been the same nightmare over and over again.
He's never written this one down because he's never wanted to remember it, or for anyone else to see it. But he always remembers it: he was sent on a mission to get super soldier serum from Howard Stark. He remembers killing him and his wife Maria.
He always feels guilty for staying in the tower, every time he sees Tony he thinks about what he did to his parents. No one else knows except him and Steve. He knows what his therapist would say about it: "you have to tell Tony, even if that means he'll shout at you, punch you or kick you out, and even if that happens it's not the end of the world. You'll still have friends who will help you out."
He doesn't know if he'll ever tell Aurora, he knows that her and Tony get along. He's worried that she'll tell him, or worse leave him because of it.
Suddenly Alpine comes up to lick his face, and Bucky gives her a sad smile. "Hannah was right you do have a sixth sense about this sort of stuff."
Suddenly there's a knock at the door, Bucky rolls out of bed and drags himself to the door. He opens the door and sees Natasha.
"What do you want?" Bucky grumbles.
"Morning to you too sunshine." Nat teases.
Bucky glares at Nat and speaks again, slowly. "I'll ask again. What. Do. You. Want?"
"First calm down, second me and Steve were talking and we thought me, Steve, you and Aurora could all go to Coney Island.
Bucky's eyes widen a little. "That place still exists? Jeez! I haven't been there since I was probably a teenager. But yeah sounds like a good idea."
"Great get dressed we're leaving in an hour." Nat insists.
"An hour?! You could have given me more warning!" He shouts as he watches Nat run away.
"That was your warning!" She shouts back.
Bucky groans and closes his door, he digs through his closet to find something to wear. He picks out a white vest and a blue shirt to go over it and beige trousers.
He ties his hair up into a bun and then checks his phone for the weather. He sees that's it's going to be a nice day so he puts on a pair of sunglasses as well.
