second mission reveal

dawn woke up early as there was nothing to do since he was 'lazy' after all, but he noticed that every time he walked past someone they looked like they had done something bad to him. he didn't really care as he didn't blame them as that was something dawn would have done as well, but he kinda wished they hadn't done that.

the yuehuas slowly made their way with dawn, despite the fact that there was a lot going on with him, dawn decided that it was best to pretend if everything was okay since he was on camera most of the time. the staff even asked dawn if he was able to do that but luckily they noticed that dawn was quite professional with what to do.

once again as the doors opened, there were a side for k group and another for g group. dawn hated it, what if this was another battle between both groups, honestly if it was this was bullshit. dawn was on the end of the line as he was the highest ranking g group member, he was proud of the fact that he ranked second out of 98 trainees. not everyone could do that as they were eliminated.

dawn was still in a state of feeling unwell and he didn't bother speaking to anyone, he wasn't in the right mood yet he was forced to come out here just for recording. bunch of idiots honestly, he was so damn tired of being here if he could he would have left the show but he's only here for his family, that's the only reason why he's here.

all he could hear was a bunch of trainees suggesting who the new star master would be since the star masters change all the time, dawn couldn't care less on who it was. but someone suggested justin bieber which dawn actually found funny, and at that moment the door swung open as dawn thought it was soobin from txt!

but suddenly realised it was lee minhyun from btob, why did he look like soobin so much. he's the main rapper of that group and is also a very talented soloist, dawn listened to some songs of his and was blown away by the talent.

matthew who was next to dawn could tell something wasn't right and quietly whispered to dawn if he was okay, dawn suddenly changed his expression and told him that everything was ok. matthew told him that he could talk to him about anything, dawn felt a bit better hearing that but knowing that every trainee in the room knew his situation it was best for him to lay low until he was clear of the situation.

dawn's attention was now focused to the announcement of the second mission, what could it be? this was the main reason he even came, if not then he would have been cramped up in his room wondering what went wrong and how fans wrongly accused him of something he'd never do which was lazy dancing.

suddenly a huge poster behind the star master dropped revealing the second mission, dawn found it funny how everyone reacted to the poster falling down. that's when dawn's eyes paid attention to the english writing on the poster, 'dual position battle'

this confirmed that the second mission of boys planet was a dual position battle and dawn wondered what the fuck this meant. his question was answered as it was a mission where you have two positions at the same time so that explained the positions displayed:

"vocal & rap" this was dawn's strongest area as you had to show vocal by rearranging and creating your own original rap which was an easy task for dawn to do.

"vocal & dance" maybe but the hard part was that you had to arrange and create your own choreography, now dawn wasn't the best at this so if he ended up with this then maybe he'd get someone else to do it.

"rap & dance" definitely not, rapping while dancing is hard as you had to recreate your own original rap and create your own original dance.

dawn finally had a smile on his face as he heard that the k v g battle would be finally dropped and that anyone from either group could join any team they would wish to be in. the songs for vocal and rap were now going to be shown, dawn hoped for songs he would like.

dawn's eyes went into flames seeing the first song, tomboy by gidle! everyone loved this song and everyone performed it was guaranteed to get into the next round as this song was quite the hit, and it'd be amazing to see the talent people would bring into this song. but this song was way too popular once again so maybe dawn would avoid it as only four members could do it.

the next song was limousine by be'o, it talks about the artists own story about reaching the top. as much as dawn would love to, this song wouldn't really do much for him as it wouldn't allow him to show his true talent.

man in love by infinite, dawn adored this song as his parents would play it all the time along with some other classics. he thought about his parents straight away when he heard it, he truly did miss them but would this be the perfect song for him or was there something else? he told zhang hao that he'd choose this one if he sees who's in the team first.

the next song was a song dawn hadn't heard yet, 'not spring, love or cherry blossoms' by high4 and iu. he was definitely going to avoid this because it'd be a dumb move to pick a song that you didn't even know, that's common sense. so far he wasn't really enjoying the song choices but if he had to, he would choose man in love just for his parents as they remind him of that song.

the next positions were vocal & dance and the first song displayed was a really strong song, butterfly by bts. suddenly hao who was near dawn said that he'd suit the song, dawn had a thought about it and maybe he did especially at a time like this since it was an emotional song and dawn quite emotional lately.

the next song had everyone cheering loudly, feel special by twice, even dawn wanted to yell out but he couldn't. everyone and their mothers knew this song, it was so bright and happy that it made dawn want to be himself again. there were some people i wanted to avoid being on their team such as gyuvin who i haven't had a one on one conversation with yet after the talk we had.

the third song was definitely not expected but love killa by monster x, this was something dawn had to avoid he definitely can't do sexy. everyone seemed to love this song as this was probably another song that would be popular along with tomboy.

the last song was definitely a song for the vocalists, home by seventeen. honestly any song featuring seventeen was for the main vocalists, there was one person dawn could think about, yoo seungeon. he would tell dawn everything about this group, he even owned their own fandom cup which was quite cute. but dawn was definitely choosing this as well.

the next position was rap & dance, even though dawn wasn't thinking about choosing these songs he was still going to think about it. the first song was law by yoon mirae and bibi, he loved it already but the dance was way too difficult for someone like him.

the next song was quite confusing, rush hour again? dawn found it weird as people already performed this song, jay and kamden, why would the producers choose a song that's already been performed but whoever chose this song better do well as the standard had been set up high by jay and kamden.

zoom by jessi, now this made dawn think again. he listened to this song everyday when it came out so he was a huge fan, he was okay with the creating your own rap but dancing was the struggle. what should he do!?

the last song was gang, he didn't even know what this was. so automatically this was already out of his list, he could hear all sorts of talk but hanbin was right next to dawn and he could see gyuvin and him making a plan. what was this about?

dawn realised that the person with the lowest rank will choose first but there was a twist. a person with a higher rank than them are allowed to kick them out if a team if full and the person getting kicked out has to find a new team to go onto.

the benefits were now being shown, every team from each position that got the highest score will be rewarded an extra 100,000 points. since dawn is already going through a lot, he knows he needs this. and the person with the highest score on the winning team will be rewarded an extra 50,000 points, dawn knew this wasn't him.

just like last time the team with the highest score will also head to m countdown, dawn knew that he needed this more than anyone at the moment. he will fight for the opportunities that are literally right in front of him.
