"Why are we here?" Ju-won asked, looking up at the ice cream parlor he had took them to. The ice cream parlor was down the street from her apartment, and she had been here before. Whenever her dad would get angry at her, she would come to this same ice cream parlor to escape everything.

"I drove past this on my way to you." Su-ho replied, "also. Who doesn't like ice cream? Especially the strawberry flavor." Su-ho moaned dreamily. "My favorite."

"That's my favorite, too." Ju-won didn't know why she told him her favorite ice cream, it just blurted out.

"Then, lets go."

"Gosh." Su-ho moaned, scooping some ice cream on his tiny wooden spoon, and put it in his mouth. Ju-won sat across from him, and watched him in amusement as he stuffed the ice cream in his mouth.

"How come you aren't eating." Su-ho pointed his spoon at her bowl of ice cream.

Ju-won scoffed. "Just looking at you eating that ice cream like that, is making me lose my appetite."
"Oh, come on." Su-ho grabbed her spoon, scooping some ice cream on it. "Take a bite." Su-ho moved the spoon closer to her lips, but she only glared at him. "I am-" Ju-won was suddenly cut off when Su-ho forcefully shoved the spoon in her mouth.

Ju-won took the spoon out of her mouth, and swallowed the ice cream. "That is good."

"See." Su-ho smiled cheekily. "I told you."

Ju-won watched Su-ho out of curiosity, as he shoved more ice cream in his mouth. Were they friends? Ju-won never wanted to do anything about the boy, now she's here sitting with him, and eating ice cream. Never thought this day was happening. Ju-won didn't even know the boy that well, all she knew he was a good fighter, and in her class.

"Why are you nice to me?" Ju-won blurted out, as Su-ho glanced up in confusion. "Huh?"

"I mean.." Ju-won crossed her arms, "most of the boys in our school are afraid of me. They know I'm friends with Yeong-bin and his crew. They tend to stay away from me."

"Are you really friends with them?" Su-ho pressed, and leaned back in his chair. "Or are you just saying that?."

"I'm friends with them." Ju-won glared, as she clutched her hand together, and getting annoyed with the questions. She was also getting annoyed because he thought he knew her to well to speak up about any of her problems. In fact, he didn't. He didn't know her at all, and she didn't know him.

"Okay." Su-ho sighed. "Hurry up, and finish your ice cream. I'm going to be late going back to work." Su-ho's mood changed, annoyed with the girls attitude.

After annoying night of eating ice cream with Su-ho, he walked her back home. She didn't want him to walk her back, but he had to get his motorcycle due to the fact they walked to the ice cream parlor.

"Don't be late to school tomorrow." Su-ho called out to her, as she went to open her apartment door. Ju-won stopped in her tracks, and instantly felt bad when she was rude to Su-ho at the parlor. She didn't mean to, she just hated talking about her life.

"Thanks for the ice cream." Ju-won said quietly, and Su-ho smiled. "I had to pay you back somehow with the water. Don't worry, I'll give you three water bottles tomorrow at school."

It was the next day, and she was on time. She had actually listened to someone. Ju-won instantly felt annoyed when she walked into class, and whispers surrounded her.

"Wow, she's actually on time."

"Is she okay?"

"Why is she here early?"

"Is that really Kwon Ju-won?"

Ju-won ignored them, as she went over to her seat. Ju-won glanced towards Su-ho's way, when she sensed someone looking at her. Su-ho gave her a smile, grateful she had listened to him, and wasn't late.

A few classes had went by, now physical education rolled around. Ju-won was the only girl who actually enjoyed physical education, and not like any other girls.

You think Ju-won was a girl, and she would be slow? You thought wrong. Ju-won sprinted her feet, and ran past a few boys. She thought she was going to be first today, until Su-ho ran past her, tapping her on the back.

"Fucking dick!" Ju-won called out, and sprinted faster up to the point where now she's beside him.

"What?" Su-ho glanced beside him confused. As he got side tracked, Ju-won sprinted faster, and was closed to the finish line.

"Kwon Ju-won!" Su-ho scolded, and ran faster. Just as Ju-won was about to reach the line, Su-ho used his long legs, and ran past it following by Ju-won. At this point, Ju-won was sweating as the sun blared down on them, and she was out of breath.

"HA!" Su-ho cheered. "I win, you lost."

"Get a grip." Ju-won sighed tiredly, and walked over to the stairs.

As everyone started to pile up on the stares after they finished running, Ju-won can hear the muttering about Si-eun. Ju-won glanced up as Si-eun was so far behind from the others, and running like a zombie.

"Look how he's running. Is he a zombie?" Jung-chan got up, and mimicked Si-eun's run.

"Yah." Ju-won called out from where she was sitting behind them, and they all turned their attention towards her. "Leave him alone. He's doing the best he can." They completely ignored her, as they turned back around, and continued to mock Si-eun.

"So annoying." Ju-won muttered, without realizing Su-ho was watching the whole thing. As they didn't listen to her, Su-ho took his shoe off, and threw it at them.

"What the heck?" Everyone stopped what they were doing, and glanced towards Su-ho.

"Bring it here." Su-ho demanded, pointing towards his shoe.

"Ignore him."

"Just ignore him."

However, Jung-chan did not ignore him. He picked up his shoe, and brought it over to Su-ho.

"What's your name again?" Su-ho asked, grabbing his shoe.

"I'm Lee Jung-chan." He answered.

"Okay." Su-ho waved his shoe at him, telling him to go. Ju-won looked at Su-ho,  and he looked at her. Ju-won gave him a nod out of thanks, and he gave her a a nod as well. At that, they didn't realize Yeong-bin was only watching, and clutched his fist together.
