୨⎯ Chapter Ten ⎯୧

✧・゚: *✧・゚:*

"Where were you?! It's late!" Ju-won's father screamed at her, as she barged into her apartment. Of course, the apartment reeked of alcohol, and made Ju-won want to throw up right there.

"I was out." Ju-won simply said, with no emotion. Ju-won was about to walk past him, but he pushed her shoulder. "what do you mean out?! You should of been here studying -" he was cut off when Ju-won suddenly punched him between his nose, and knocking him out cold. Ju-won did not want to deal with his shit tonight. It's not like he'll remember it the next day.

It was the next day, it was finally the weekend. Su-ho had called her up and asked her to join in some pool with him, Beom-seok, and Si-eun. Ju-won had never played pool in her life, but she did not want to stay the whole weekend at her apartment, and hear her father telling her how horrible of a daughter she was.

Ju-won sat awkwardly between Si-eun and Beom-seok's as Su-ho played pool. This was the second time she actually hung out with them that wasn't school or anything. Ju-won wasn't very good at this, but she was getting better.

"Didn't we meet for a school project?" Si-eun asked, breaking Ju-won out of her thoughts.

"Oh." Beom-seok shared looks with Ju-won, as she bit her lip. They were indeed going to work on a school project, but ended up playing pool instead.

"Come on." Ju-won placed her arm around his shoulder. "Live a little. It's the weekend."

"Hey, Si-eun." Su-ho got his attention, and agreed with Ju-won. "She's right. It is the weekend. Your brain needs a rest once in awhile to perform better."

"Aren't you going to college?" Si-eun asked Ju-won and Beom-seok, and Ju-won couldn't help but scoff. "Si-eun. Do you see me as a college person? I barley show up to school now as it is."

"But." Su-ho stood up straighter, glancing towards Ju-won. "You have gotten better. Also, you're grades gotten better since you started talking to me." Su-ho grinned proudly, but turned to a scowl as he looked at Si-eun. "Did you get shot in the head? Did you crawl into a chicken coop again? Come on, hurry up." Su-ho grabbed onto Si-eun's arm. "Hurry up, and play. You know you want to!" Su-ho urged, as he pulled Si-eun up to the pool table. Beom-seok laughed, then glanced towards Ju-won who was now sitting next to him. Ju-won looked at him, and grinned. Si-eun was about to leave with Beom-seok because he wanted to work on the project, but Su-ho had stopped him, as he blocked him with his pool stick. Su-ho persuade him to play a full game.

After a long pool game that came to an end, Ju-won couldn't help but feel relieved. She was getting bored as she watched the boys play. Su-ho tried persuading her to play also, but she rather watched instead because she didn't know how to play.

"Darn it!" Su-ho groaned loudly, as they walked out of the pool place. Ju-won couldn't help but glare towards his direction, for being to loud.

"You know I let you win." Su-ho nodded his head towards Si-eun.

"No, you didn't." Si-eun denied.

"Someone is just butt hurt that he lost." Ju-won joked, ruffling Si-eun's hair, and wrapped her arm around Su-ho's shoulder. "Get lost." Su-ho pushed her arm off.

"Forget it." Su-ho waved Si-eun off. "Lets have some beer."

"Beer?" Ju-won jaw dropped. "You drink beer?"

"Hell yeah!" Su-ho cheered. "Come on!"

"I need to go." Beom-seok agreed.

"You guys go have fun." Si-eun denied the fact about him going with them. After trying to persuade Si-eun to go, Su-ho stood between Beom-seok and Ju-won, and wrapped his arms around their shoulders. "Alright, then. Get home safely we'll be going. You were lucky today. I won't go easy on you next time." Su-ho said, before walking away with Ju-won and Beom-seok.

"Who said I wanted to go?" Ju-won glared up at him, making Beom-seok chuckled.

"I did. Come on. " Su-ho smiled down at her.

After a few drinks in for Su-ho, you could say he was tipsy. He wasn't drunk, but tipsy. Beom-seok had left a little awhile ago leaving the two behind, but Su-ho insisted to stay. Ju-won stayed as well to look out for him. Glad she did.

"Come on." Ju-won groaned, helping Su-ho walk outside the restaurant. Before she went any further, she cursed to herself, learning it was pouring out. Su-ho couldn't help but laugh.

"Gosh, your heavy." Ju-won groaned, as she looked around to find a spot to hang out for a little bit to not get wet. Once she found a bus stop nearby, she quickly rushed over, with Su-ho leaning on her. As they got to the stop, Ju-won placed Su-ho on the bench, and Ju-won sat down. Ju-won let out a sigh of relief.

"Ju-won." Su-ho slurred, leaning closer to her. "You know, you should really smile more."

"Okay, Su-ho. You're drunk. Where do you live so I can take you home."

"No." Su-ho shook his head. "Don't take me home. I rather be with the prettiest girl I know."

"Oh, yeah." Ju-won hummed. "Who is that?"

"You." Su-ho leaned his head onto her shoulder. "You're the prettiest girl I know. I like you a lot, Kwon Ju-won."

Ju-won couldn't help but feel her heart skipped a beat. Did Su-ho really like her? Or does he not know what's he saying because he's drunk? Ju-won had never had a guy like her before, and this was all new to her.

Suddenly, her thoughts were cut short when she heard snoring coming from Su-ho, and he had fell asleep.

"Fucking great." Ju-won muttered.

Ju-won didn't know where Su-ho had lived, but she had decided to take him to her apartment knowing her dad wasn't home. Every weekend, her dad would disappear. Ju-won plopped Su-ho onto her bed, and she sighed in relief. Many thoughts were running through her head, as she stared at the sleeping boy. Ju-won always tried to act like she was okay alone, but deep down, she wanted a friend. Now, she has one. But, Su-ho had told her he liked her, and didn't know what to do. Ju-won never had these types of feelings towards a boy before. Ju-won did feel a type of way towards him, but hides her feelings.

Ju-won always believed she didn't deserved to be liked by someone because no one had showed her they did. They were always afraid of Ju-won because of the way she acted, but Su-ho wasn't. Su-ho was the first person to start a conversation with her, even when they first met, and that's what she liked about him.
