~Kirito's POV~
(Y/N) seemed pretty angry now. I was the same way though, so I can't really blame her or anyone for that matter. I brought my arm back down and let it limply hang from my sides as I gazed into her (E/C) eyes, my blush slightly subsiding.
"You might wanna get comfy, because this'll take a while." I said, bringing my feet onto the bed. I crossed my forearms and placed them on my shins. Taking a deep breath, I started explaining what happened to (Y/N) and the rest of us.
"Today is June 17, 2060. There was this brand new gaming console called The NerveGear that came out," I said as I pointed on the one sitting on the bed stand next to (Y/N). "They had about seven billion of them, and every single one sold out in a day. The population on Earth here is around 17 billion. Crazy right? Anyway, the NerveGear is used to simulate a different life. For example, here, we can't age. But we can change age. For example..." I said as I turned a few years older. Around four, to be exact. I saw (Y/N)'s eyes widen when I did so. I changed back to my normal age that I like, seventeen.
"Well, actually, we can't change age but we can make our bodies cells to get more complex, thus changing our looks. Back to the NerveGear, it's pretty simple. For example, I want you to try and bend your finger back so it can touch the back of your hand." I said calmly, smiling because I remembered how competitive (Y/N) was.

~Your POV~I tried and did as I was told, and to my astonishment, my finger bent all the way backwards with ease. No popping noises or cracks either, it was completely natural for this body. I looked up at Kazuto, shocked. He smiled back at me, and continued explaining.

~Kirito's POV~"The game reality, the sell name for the game, put restrictions to what we could do. Everyone wanted to try it, because it was a challenge. It wasn't always action-packed unless you wanted it to be, and that could happen by signing up to be a police officer or recruit for the army." I explained as my body shifted slightly in the bed.
"People wanted to try, but a glitch happened mid-way. Every player's memory got erased, and they were all forced to be put at different ages. Some were born, and others were already 60 years old. Some very unlucky people already died. The system went haywire, and everyone in this world panicked. The maker of the game, and the Game Master, Akame Kyūshesu, (Akame Kyū-shesh-u), was sued greatly and put in prison. The problem with this world is no one can die from old age. Only from pain or a physical wound. If I were to live another three hundred years without any physical scars, I would be as spot-on as I am today. There would be no change. But, for example... Uhh," I looked around the room for a scalping knife or some kind of pointy object. I found a pair of nail clippers on the bed stand and picked them up, making them visible to (Y/N).
"If I were to stab myself with these, and I won't, don't worry, I would die. Scientists of this era still haven't figured out what happens after death or why our bodies don't rot. It's now the eighth wonder of the world." I explained, setting the small (F/C) nail clippers back on the bed stand as it make a small clicking noise.
"Understand now? Once you die in that world," I said, motioning to the NerveGear,
"You can live in this one again." I flashed her a small smile as she sat there, trying to comprehend what happened. She looked up at me, wide eyed, and her (E/C) eyes sparkled as if she remembered everything that happened. She zoned out for a minute, and played back everything she had just heard.
I can't tease, because we all did the exact same thing.
