~Kirito's POV~

(Y/N) has been ignoring me all day. She just stared off to the window when rain spilled onto it. She didn't look at me, not once. I tried to sit with her at lunch today, but the second I was mid sentence of greeting her she stood up and walked to another table. I ate my food alone today.

I'd glance at her every few minutes, and she was either listening to the teacher, looking out the window, scribbling in her notes, playing with her uniform (which was adorable), or staring at Rin. He was an innocent kid. But I burned with anger and jealously, building up within me. When break period rolled around, I swore to myself and on my future grave that I'd make her listen to me. After about fifteen minutes of searching, I finally found her in a crowd of people.

"(Y/-" she was talking with him. Her face red and her hands shaking softly. Rin wasn't any different. He chuckled nervously and scratched his neck, blushing like a madman. I heard and unpleasant crack and realized I was gritting my teeth. Pivoting on my heel, I turned around and ran, pushing multiple people and teachers out of the way. I finally made my way outside and sat on the edge of the freshwater fountain. It was rather large; made purely of cobblestone and the water was fresh and clean. Cleaner than a water bottle. It was actually used as a water fountain and looked absolutely gorgeous in the winter. I grabbed one of the plastic cups that was placed on the rim of the fountain and filled it halfway. Staring for a moment, I couldn't get the thought about (Y/N) and him.

I chugged the water and crushed the used cup in my hands. I heard the bell ring and students pour back into the building. I threw the cup away and hid my face in my hands.
I think I'm gonna skip the last class.

~Your POV~

When Geography started, I looked around but I didn't see Kirito.
Wait... You're mad at him! Stop caring where he is!
I looked out the window and out into the courtyard, and I thought I saw someone sitting on a bench facing the fountain with their head in their hands. Shrugging it off, I payed my attention back to the teacher. I did a double take, eyes wide and my chin being raised from my hand. Was he... Crying? I brought my pencil back down onto my notebook and the teacher stopped talking.
"(L/N)-chan, is there something you would like to share with the class?" I quickly snapped out of it.
"N-no, I'm sorry Sensei." He stared at me weirdly for a second then turned back to teaching.
Why is he crying?
