~Your POV~

"It's fine." Smiling weakly, tears streaming small rivers down my face, I stood. Bare body quaking slightly, I quickly dressed.
"It's fine. Really." A painful smile and wave was the best I could manage.
"Just forget about me, okay? I'll be fine." I cried harder, no noise coming out of my mouth but tears fell at a faster rate.

"I... I-I need to go. Bye, Kirito. See you at school next week." He quickly jumped off the bed, hand reaching out to me, but he missed by a few inches and fell onto the ground. He stared up at me and his wails got louder.
"(Y/N)!" He sobbed. I quickly ran out the door, to my apartment. Even though I was sticky, wet, and cold, I didn't shower yet. We had a small summer break, that's why I don't have to see him for a week.

Whipping out my phone, I quickly dialed Rin's number. He picked up rather quickly once more.
"Hey (Y/N)!" He greeted cheerfully. Through sobs, I caught my breath to sound clearer though the holographic phone.
"R-Rin, p-please come o-over... I need to t-talk to someone..." I whimpered. He hung up immediately, and that made me cry harder.

Why does everyone hate me today?

Around ten minutes later, I heard a loud and firm knock on the wooden oak door. I slowly got up to open it, tears streaming down my face. At the door was Rin. Without even saying anything, he pulled me into a bear hug.
"R-Rin?"
"(Y/N), I have no idea what happened, but I'm so sorry." He pushed my shoulders away with a firm grip on them to face me, his stern red hues connecting with my (E/C) ones.

"Did Kirigaya hurt you?"
