The faint sound of happy church wedding bells rung in the distance as Kazuto's lips connected with mine. He wedding bells rung louder as tears of happiness fell down my cheeks.
Did this really happen? I really got to marry Kazuto...?
He smiled at me and the church bells got unnecessarily loud. Kirito was just smiling with tears on his face as if he didn't notice them.
What is it? Some malfunction?
Kazuto's shining face started to fade as everything else did.
"Kazuto!" I shouted. He smiled and kept crying. His wedding ring gleaned brightly like a small star on his ring finger.
Everything went black.
A millisecond later, the universe came in turn again. The church bells were replaced with an alarm clock.
"No... I-it can't be..." I shut off the alarm clock quickly and looked around. My room... My room with my parents... My replica of a Nervegear, that didn't work, resting upon the shelf...
...I-it was a dream? The whole thing?
I felt tears stream down my face as I laid back, shaking and crying.
"The entire thing? That's nearly impossible... Kirito..."
I rested my hand upon the case next to me. It had Kirito's and Asuna's face on it... The SAO season one disk...
"Kirito... You never existed..." I felt hot salty tears run down my face as I stroked the disk cover.
"I fell in love with someone that never existed..." The hot salty tears fell even harder as I accepted what was a nightmare.
"Game Over...."
