Jughead VO: People like to say that the death of Jason Blossom changed everything at Riverdale High. But certain things and certain traditions never change. Take Homecoming, for instance. Though Jason's jersey had been retired, the Riverdale Bulldogs would still be playing their arch-rivals, the Baxter High Ravens, with the River Vixens cheering them on. As in previous years, graduates from the days of Riverdale Past will come to town to relive their more youthful, more carefree days. Or to make up for lost time.

Peter is standing at his doorway and in front of them was his best friend, from New York City, Mary Jane Watson and at her feet was a suitcase. Mary Jane stands there and wonders why Peter was just standing there looking at her.

Mary Jane: Do I get a hug or are you just gonna stand there and stare at me?

Peter breaks out of his trance and gives MJ a hug. The two laugh as they embrace as they hadn't seen each other in months. Peter steps back and thinks of the first thing that comes to his mind

Peter: What are you doing here?

Mary Jane: Your Aunt didn't tell you? I'm gonna be staying here, with you guys?

Mary Jane picks up her suitcase and heads inside the Parker home. As Peter closes the door, Aunt May peeks her head, to see what the commotion is, and once she sees Mary Jane she opens her arm wide open and runs over to give Mary Jane the biggest mamma bear hug ever.

Aunt May: Mary Jane! You've made it! It's so good to see you.

Mary Jane: You too, Mrs. Parker.

Aunt May: How many times have I told you, to call me May.

As May and Mary Jane are talking and catching up, Peter is still confused by the giant elephants in the room and that was why was Mary Jane here.

Peter: Wait, you knew she was coming?

Aunt May: I meant to tell you but this week has been so crazy but yeah. Anna Watson called and said that M.J got expelled, at school, for... what was it again?

Mary Jane: I "allegedly" set the principals car on fire, but that has not been 100% proven to be true.

Aunt May: Yeah, so she wanted M.J to get out of New York, for awhile, and she asked if she could come stay with us.

Peter is taken aback by this news. In all his years he never expected to have someone, his age, to live with let alone one of his oldest friends

Peter: That's... great. I'm happy you're here, M.J.

Aunt May: We all are. Now, grab your things and Peter will show you to the guest room.

Peter takes Mary Jane suitcase as they both start to head up the stairs to the second floor, where all the rooms are. Peter and MJ reach the top of the staircase, as Peter points to where her room is.
