- - - - WAREHOUSE - - - - Later that same night, Valerie Brown wakes up and groans from a headache. She looks around and sees that she's in very high tech room that covers the dilapidated warehouse that was on the outside. As she's about to get out the bed, Valerie sees that she's chained and is rapidly pulling on the chain. As she's pulling on the chain, Electro hears this and rushes over to her with a drink in his hand.
Electro: Here, drink this
Electro hands her a milkshake from POP's. Valerie is hesitant to take it as she doesn't know if the shake was laced with something. Electro notices this and chuckles to give Valerie
Ekectro[cont.]: It's okay, I won't bite.
Still with her reservations, Valerie takes the shake and begins to drink from it. It was refreshing but it didn't change her thoughts as to why is she here and what happened to Max.
Electro: Lucky for me, the lights are the energy I need. I can tell you have something on your mind, so say it.
Valerie: Max, what happened to you and why am I here?
Electro then stands up and walks over to the nearest mirror and looks at it. He begins to reflect on the whole matter from the first time he walked into the halls of Riverdale high to now.
Electro: All my life, I've been looked down upon. Seen as nothing more than a mere insect that people couldn't wait to step on. Not just from the school but that feeling was also shared by family, as well. But then I met you. You were the only person that saw me as me. Not a freak or a weirdo, but me.
Valerie is listening to this and had no idea what Max was going through. She, deep down, wished she had known so maybe she would've stood up for him more and protected him but she was completely unaware. As she hearing this, her head starts to hurt but she wipes it off as a brain freeze.
Electro[cont.]: After what Clayton did to me at the party, I got low. I felt I couldn't show my face at that godforsaken school ever again so if I was dead, who'd give a damn right? Do you know the first thing those rat-faced bastards would've said if they made that announcement that I had died? It wouldn't be tears or tributes, it'd be filled with questions like "Who was that?" or "Was he a student here?"
The more Electro talks, the angrier he becomes when suddenly the lights begin to flicker all around the place. Electro notices this and calms down the electricity is back normal.
Electro[cont.]: But, now. Everyone is gonna know my name and soon you'll understand what it's like to have this much power.
Valerie: What do you mean??
Electro: All in due time, Val. All in due time.
As Electro is saying this, Valerie then loses consciousness and passes out. Electro then picks up the shake and sits it back on the table, with a slight smirk on his face.
