Chapter 75: The beginning

Lauren watched as Alexa walked down the corridor decorated with yellow and white flowers, each step leading her toward her future. Her face showed only happiness and contentment but the most beautiful of all was not her expression, it was Veronica's expression waiting for her at the altar, the brunette seemed to be in a trance, her whole world was walking towards her and Lauren was happy to see her friend finally giving happiness chance.

A week had passed since Luis took his own life after confessing that he had an affair with Lucy and killed her and in that week Lauren took the time to absorb what it all meant. The betrayal, the lies, the pain of losing a friend... She processed it all but didn't lose her mind to it.

"Mama" Liv smiled, she knew what she was doing "Come on, let's dance" Camila looked at Lauren for her approval.

"Go," Lauren said smiling widely "Your daughter is asking for you"

"Yes" Camila stole a kiss "My daughter"
