If Camila had any intention of dining with Lauren and the girls alone she was put out of that quickly. Everyone sat at the same table, Lauren, the girls, Demi, and three more employees that Camila didn't know because they worked at night and she was gone by the time they came in.
Regardless, she was happy to be included and to see that Lauren cared for the people who worked for her, she wondered if that happened every night, and by the normality in everyone's acts, she guessed it did.
Despite working in this house for a couple of months now, Camila hadn't explored the mansion much, she usually kept to the west wing where the hall, living room, and studio were and the east where the kitchen, pool area, and employees room beside the second floor to tend to the girls. Now she could see there's much more to this house, all these people working and living here and she'd never seen or talked to them...
And the dining room... There was a completely different space and a room she'd never been into - they always ate breakfast and lunch in the kitchen area - this fancy room with big tables and chairs was never used during the day, she counted quickly and there was room for at least twelve people to sit.
Lauren sat on the end of the table, clearly the host, while the girls sat by her side, one in each. Camila smiled at Luna trying to mimic her mother's posture."Camila" Lauren pointed at a chair next to Liv and she went to her place.
"Cami, nooooooo" Luna pleaded "You need to sit here with me, this is the best side" Camila looked between the girls without knowing what to do. God, what does Lauren do in situations like this? She didn't want to disappoint anyone.
She told herself not to stress, it's just a chair, makes no difference where she's going to sit.
"Camzi, pwease" Liv tries it too and okay, now she's lost."Camila, you're free to choose," Lauren said with humor in her eyes, clearly enjoying the torture the brunette was going through right now. Traitor, all of this family is full of little traitors.
"Ah, maybe it's best if I sit with Demi by the other end" She would sit with neither and that's that.
"But Cami" Luna frowned "You don't want to sit with me?"
"Or me?" Liv bit her lips and Camila looked at Lauren begging for help.
Please. She'd lose her mind over a place to sit.
"Lauren Jauregui" Demi came in to save her "Can't you see the poor girl is about to have a heart attack?" She reprimanded Lauren as a mother does to her daughter "Don't be cruel"
"I did nothing" Lauren winked at the old woman and Camila watched her in wanton, it's rare to see Lauren so carefree... She likes it, even if it's her expense.
"Exactly""Fine" Lauren rolled her eyes and looked at the brunette "Camila, sit next to Liv" Camila sighed in relief at not having to make that choice.
"But moooooom" Luna started to complain but Lauren's faster.
"Your sister needs help to cut her food" Lauren raised an eyebrow "Unless you need it too?""No" Luna denied quickly "I'm like you Mommy, I don't need help" She looked at her sister "You can keep her... for now"
"Of course you don't" Lauren agreed seriously and Camila smiled, Luna had fallen right into Lauren's manipulation, thank God for that.
