They came home in silence, the girls going up to their room while Lauren hesitated in the hall."Camila, can we talk?" Camila just nodded and followed her into the studio. "About what happened in the car ..."
"Lauren, you'll have to be a little more specific" Camila laughed trying to lighten the mood "Several things happened in the car and outside of it"
"What I did... Leaving my mother's house"
Ah, was Lauren talking about their kiss?
She swallowed."The ..." Camila blushed "That ..."
"Yes," Lauren nodded, saving her the humiliation of trying to find the right words "I wanted to apologize" Great, now Lauren was sorry? This day couldn't get any worse.
"Lauren ..." Camila was quick "No need to apologize, I liked it ..."
"I know ..." Lauren sighed "Me too but I shouldn't have done it anyway"
"You didn't like it?" She raised an eyebrow.
Lauren did not answer.
"As you can see from what just happened, I'm not stable enough to worry about anything but my daughters" She turned her back on Camila, and yes, the brunette understood but she didn't agree.
"Lauren, whether you accept it or not, you'll end up having to deal with it" Camila laughed, she'd fought for what she'd achieved so far, and she had nothing left to lose "This will always stay in the back of your mind, is it not better to share it with someone else and work on it than hide? Keep that weight on your shoulders? "
"This ..." Lauren got closer to her "I don't even know what it is that's going on between us" She threw her hands up "Let alone work on it"
"This..." Camila swallowed and decided to be brave "It's the feeling I have for you and these girls" Sighed "I want to be here, I want to be part of your family and I'll leave if you want me to but I'll only do it if you tell me don't want me here "
Lauren still had her back to the brunette and Camila walked to the other side, placing herself in front of her and looking her in the eyes.
"Tell me you don't want me here and I'll go, we'll never talk about it again like you wanted before"
"I can't" Lauren murmured "I'm not stable..."
"Tell me you don't want me here" Camila put her hand on her waist and repeated "It's not difficult Lauren, without excuses, if you don't want me then tell me to leave"
"I don't..." Lauren hesitated "I can't, I have my girls to think about"
"And you think I don't think about them? I think about them all the time but if you want me to go, I will... I swear I will" Camila pulled her to her "Tell me you don't want me here"
"I want you here" Lauren murmured on the brunette's lips and Camila advanced into her mouth.
Their bodies finally got entangled in this dance that they had been in for months, Camila was worried about not knowing what to do but as soon as Lauren's tongue touched her lips all her worries turned to dust, as if they didn't exist, she could only think about how their lips fit together and how Lauren's body fit perfectly in her arms, her curves molded into hers.
Their heavy breaths mixed and the wet skin between their lips caused the brunette to shiver.
Her hands went to the raven's hair, pulling her as hard as she could against her, their tongue caressing each other and Lauren sighed into the kiss, it was everything Camila had dreamed of.
It was like coming home...

Camila's cheeks hurt from smiling so much, she'd fallen on the sofa breathlessly from the kiss they shared, and sitting there, they held hands just absorbing everything that happened.
"This is extremely inappropriate" It was Lauren who broke the silence "Extremely..."
"Yes" Camila laughed "But you're the boss, who cares?" Lauren accompanied her.
"My god, what do we do now?" Lauren ran her hands through her hair, pulling it from out under Camila's and she pouted for losing contact "This crosses all the boss and employee lines"
"Ok, first we have to see if this kissing thing is something that'll happen again" Camila looked her in the eye "I want to kiss you again"
"I ..." Lauren hesitated "Camila, I have so many unresolved issues and we have the girls to think about, what would they think about this? It's just now that they're starting to trust you, I can't ..."
"Lauren," Camila interrupted before she got herself into a panic attack "What were you planning to do, never get involved with anyone else again?"
"That was the plan..." Lauren laughed disparagingly
"You also deserve to be happy and if you want me like I want you then we have no reason to hide ..."
"And how am I going to explain this to my daughters?" Lauren raised an eyebrow "We both don't even know what this is"
"How come we don't know?" Camila asked her "I know very well, these are my feelings for you"
"You don't know what you're talking about," Lauren said "Camila, you're too young to understand but I'm a thirty-year-old woman, divorced and with two daughters whose behavior problems are nothing compared to my own ..." She snorted "Believe me, don't waste your feelings here"
"Too late" She shrugged "And that's not what I see ... I see a woman who's trying her best in the situation she was put in and who tries to be good at everything she does, a woman who hides behind a mask but deep down is kind and worries if her employees get home safe, even pays their users"
"I wish I could see this woman too..." Lauren murmured
"I can show you ..." Camila kissed her lips for a few seconds.
"Still ..." Lauren pulled away, biting her lips in reply "I have to think about the girls, I never lied to them about anything, I don't want to start now"
"So we sit down and talk to them when you're ready"
"Jesus, do you have a solution for everything?" Lauren laughed and sat next to her again.
"To be with you?" Camila dragged her nose on the raven's neck and Lauren shivered in her arms "I'll invent all the solutions in the world"
