When my mother got back from the store, I introduced her to Bambi.
Me: "hey mom?"
My mom: "what's up Luke?"
Me: "I did a thing, actually it's a big thing"
Mom: "what did you do?"
Me: "I met a new friend while you were in town"
Mom: "who? Where are they?"
Me: "he's behind me, he's an animal not a human and he can speak"
Mom: "an animal that can speak? Cool so can I meet him?"
Me: "just a fair warning he's very shy so.. just be careful. (I whisper to Bambi) you're free to come out now"
(Bambi reveals himself)
Mom: "well hello new friend, I see you are Luke's new friend. Is that correct?
Bambi: "y-yes that's correct Mrs, my name is Bambi. I'm actually Luke's new brother"
Me: "just to confirm what Bambi said. Yes Bambi is my new brother"
Mom: "well Luke, you have always wanted a brother I guess you got your wish, Bambi can stay you two seem to be bonded like brothers"
Me: "thanks mom!"
Bambi: "I have a home! YAY!"
Mom: "Bambi did you not have before us?"
Bambi: "no I haven't true home yet, my previous mother was killed by hunters so, I was living with my father. than he was shot also so I've been living alone for awhile, than I found Luke. I was desperate to find someone who would treat me like family, and here you are"
Me: "is that true Bambi?"
Bambi: "Luke we'll talk later"
