I fall asleep with Bambi snugged up to me, and I wake up in a dream.
Me: "where am I?"
Bambi's late Mother: "You're in a dream"
Me: "Bambi's Mother.... Is that you?"
Bambi's Mother: "yes it's me I'm here to tell you something"
Me: "what is it?"
Bambi's Mother: "I couldn't be there for Bambi when he needed me most, but I've been watching you and him. And I think it's time for me to pass on to the afterlife and you take care of Bambi, what do you say?"
Me: "he's a sweetheart and I'm happy to take care of him, he considers me his brother"
Bambi's Mother: "I know he does"
Just then I wake up, I see Bambi awake too.
Me: "Bambi did you wake me up?"
Bambi: "yes it's 7:00 in the morning you were in a deep sleep, and your mother told me to wake you up"
Me: "are you serious? (I look at my tablet) you're right"
Bambi: "what were you thinking about? You seemed super happy about it"
Me: "oh I was thinking about Molly(my old dog) I miss her everyday"
Bambi: "I had no idea of that. I'm so sorry for your loss, I miss my mother too"
Me: "I'm sure you do miss your mother a lot"
Bambi: "and I really do miss her"
