As I sleep peacefully, i get jolted awake by Bambi. it's my birthday and I forgot, but Bambi sure as hell didn't. Bambi: "Luke! Luke! Wake up!" Me: *drowsy* "what Bambi? It's 7 in the morning and a weekend. Can you not?" Bambi: *happily* "don't you know what day it is?" Me: "no? Should I? It's summer break" Bambi: "that's a good point. *wags tail* but you're gonna wanna know what day it is!" Me: "why exactly? What why are you wagging your tail to happily?" Bambi: "must I spell it out for you?" Me: "I guess?" Bambi: "B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y" Me: "for who?" Bambi: "Y-O-U" Me: "it's not August 1st" Bambi: "check your phone silly" Me: *grabs my phone off the nightstand and looks at it* "oh damn I guess it is my birthday" Bambi: "told you silly" Me: *looks at Bambi with a looking confused* "but why wake me up so early?" Bambi: "because I wanted to?" Me: "I guess that makes sense. so, what are the plans for today?" Bambi: "well birthday boy, we'll start with a special breakfast, then we'll invite all our friends both human and animal" Me: "so Wyatt, Gunner, Brandy, Enola, Thumper, Flower, Faline and Gobo?" Bambi: "exactly!" Me: "I'm excited let me get dressed then I'll be out!" Bambi: "okay I'll be in the living room!" Me: *gets dressed in my Bambi movie clothes and heads into the living room seeing Bambi standing there with a big smile and wagging tail* "you seem happy, smiley" Bambi: "I am" Me: "did I ever tell you how contagious that smile is?" Bambi: "200 times" Me: "you're probably gonna hear it another 200" Bambi: "I know the chances of that are pretty high" Bambi's face:

Being with you is all the thanks I need" Bambi: "awwww" Me: "it's true Bam" Bambi: "aww you thought of a nickname for me? That's really sweet" Me: "I know buddy I know. So, what's our plan?"
