So it's been a year since Bambi's been in our family and I decided to finally adopt Bambi.
Me: "merry Christmas Bambi"
Bambi: "thanks you too"
Me:*looks under the Christmas tree* "oh what's this? The gift is addressed to you Bambi"
Bambi: "me? What could it be?"
Me: "it has a note, what's it say Bambi?"
Bambi: *reading the note* "Bambi, it's been a year since you joined our family. This year has been incredible with you in it. my friend, Would you like to be an official part of our family? Inside this box is something you won't expect"
Me: "I wrote that Bambi"
Bambi: "can you open the box for me?"
Me: "of course*I open the box and find another note* there's another note"
Bambi:*reading the other note* "Bambi, this started as a simple one night stay. But it's become so much more than that, this piece of paper is the confirmation that you are officially a member of our family, I'll cut to the chase. Bambi, my friend and brother you've been adopted, into our family! Congratulations!"
Me: "Bambi what are you feeling right now?"
*Bambi lays his head on my shoulder as a way of hugging me. I hug him back*
Bambi: *cries tears of happiness* "I can't believe I'm an official part of your family Luke, Thank you so much. I've been lonely and knowing you guys are my official family, makes me so happy"
Me: "no problem Bambi, we originally moved you in on Christmas Day and it's been a year since then"
Bambi: "all I can say is thank you"
Me: "that's all I need to hear Bambi I'm glad you're happy about this"
Bambi: "of course I'm happy about it"
*About five minutes later I see Bambi get tears of joy*
Me: "oh Bambi you're so welcome for officially adopting you I couldn't be happier"
Bambi: "thank you so much Luke, you have made my life so much better than I could ever imagine, thank you"
Me: "come here, I'll hug you"
*Bambi again lays his head on my shoulder, and I gently wrap my arms around his small body hugging him
Bambi: "thank you"
Me: "thank you for making my year incredible"
Bambi: "you're welcome"
