a new love romance

Tess pov:

I'm at the airport. Pablo holds my hand, which I'm happy about. After what happened at the game 4 days ago, I'm scared. But I like having Pablo with me. I feel safe with him.

Hope is sleeping in the stroller.

In the distance I see someone coming. When she is a little closer, I can clearly see that it is Sara. I run to her and give her a hug.

"It's so good to see you again!" I say happily. And I mean it. She was and is always there for me. I see that she is crying, so I pull her back into the hug. "Don't cry Sara, otherwise I will have to cry too," I say.

She laughs and wipes away her tears. "It's just so nice to see you again," she says and looks at Hope and Pablo.

Pablo smiles and gives her a hug too. "It's good to see you again Sara." "It's also nice to see you again," she says, smiling.

I see that Hope has woken up and that she really want to get out of the stroller. I look at Sara. "Hope is awake, so if you want to hold her, you can do that now." Sara immediately walks over to Hope and gives her a hug.

Hope laughs and giggles. "Hope, say Sara." "Sa- Sara" she says giggling.

She gives Hope another hug. ''Are you getting that big, little girl? Just a little while and then we can go shopping together.'' I smile.

"Mommy home," Hope says to me. "You hear Hope," I say laughing, "she wants to go home." "Let's go then," Pablo says and he packs all the suitcases.

''How are things going between you and Lamine? I haven't heard anything more about that.'' We're in the car going home. Pablo is driving and Sara and Hope are in the back with me.

I see Sara getting nervous. "Some time ago, when you were still pregnant, he told me that he wanted to focus on his career, which I understand. We've texted after that, but hardly ever anymore.

And I miss him. Really bad.''

Suddenly I get an idea. ''Pablo has to train tonight. Shall we go with him? Then you can see Lamine, talk to him for a moment and maybe he will want to have contact with you again.

She looks at me happily, but that look quickly turns into uncertainty. ''Is that a good idea? What if he thinks I'm following him around all the time? He'll be angry.'' ''Don't you worry. If things really aren't going well, I'll say you came along because I wanted to. Deal?'' She sighs. ''Deal.''

"What do you want for dinner tonight, Sara?" We just got home and it is already almost 6 pm. Pablo left immediately because he was having dinner with Pedri.

"Pablo isn't there, so it can be anything." "Do you really pay that much attention to the diet?"

she asks, laughing. ''It's terrible, believe me. Pablo has a really, really strict diet and I have to cook according to that diet.

I can cook something else for myself afterwards, but I never feel like it.'' I say back, laughing.

''Can we maybe order some burgers? I haven't had a burger in so long." "Hamburgers it is!" I say cheerfully.

Hope walks towards me. "Daddy watch" "Do you want to watch daddy's football?" She nods. "Just sit on the couch and I'll turn it on," I say, and she crawls onto the couch and sits next to Sara. Sara puts an arm around Hope.

"Are we going to watch it together, Hope?" She nods and puts her little thumb in her mouth. After I turn on football, I grab my phone to order the burgers.

''These burgers are so good Tess! I've never had them so good in France.'' I smile.

After Sara finished her studies, she returned to France. I miss her every day. But it feels extra special when she is with me now. "These are really my favorites," I say as I take another bite.

"Tess, what should I wear tonight?" I look at Sara. ''Something you feel comfortable in. Sometimes I go to play football with Pablo and a few other guys, so it might be useful to wear pants. It really doesn't matter for the rest. But I'll have you. And if you don't see anything nice in your own clothes, I have a closet full," I say laughing. She looks at me gratefully.

After we finish our burgers, we walk upstairs. I help her choose an outfit and after a while we both have an outfit.

Sara is wearing bycicle shorts with a bright blue hoodie and I am wearing light blue short jeans with a pink top.

I pick up Hope. ''If you go get ready, I'll give Hope a bath."

"Thanks," she says, laughing. I really need a lot of time. I have to look my best later.'' she says as she grabs make-up supplies. I smile.

I find it so recognizable. When I first met Pablo, I wanted to look absolutely perfect. But I just learned that if a boy really likes you, he doesn't care at all what you look like.

I run some warm water in the bath and undress Hope. While she is playing, I quickly get ready in the bathroom.

After about an hour we are both done. Hope is also dressed. She is wearing her father's shirt, but with her name on it and of course in her own size. And a pair of white jeans underneath. She looks absolutely adorable!

When we are on the training field, the players have been training for a while. They're on a break.

Pablo sees us and immediately walks towards us.

He tries to give me a hug, but I quickly run away. "Pablo, don't you dare," I try to say menacingly, "you're all sweaty.'' He looks disappointed. "You don't want a hug from me?" He pouts.

I feel sorry and Pablo takes his chance to hug me.

I laugh and after a short time, I pull him away from me.

Meanwhile, Hope has run to Lamine, which is perfect because Sara is now talking to Lamine.

They seem to be having a good time. I look at Pablo with a smile. "I think we have a new couple, Pablo." "I think so too," he says, smiling
