Josiah's POV
After I leave Nora's house I drive to Wayne's. I'm sure he was home by now. I had drove by the house where the party was being held and there was no one there. When I get to his house I see his car in their drive way so I call him.
"Come outside nigga," I say into the phone as soon as he answers.
""Bruh it's like 4am," he groans. I guess I had woken him up.
"Come on man this shit urgent," I say making him hang up the phone.
After 5 minutes he comes out the door and gets in the car.
"This better be important nigga," he says before yawning.
"I wanna kill DeShawn," I say blatantly.
"Woah woah woah my nigga can a nigga fully regain consciousness first before you get all YNW Melly up in this bitch with your "Murder on my mind" shit...what happened?," he asks me not looking sleepy anymore.
I fill him in. I tell him about what Nora told me and about what he did. I never doubted Nora I know she would never lie to me especially about something as serious as this. I believed everything she said about that grimy excuse of a father I have.
"No offense my nigga but your daddy a whole bitch and a fucking weirdo...that shit is fucked up I can't lie," he says.
"None taken and he ain't my daddy no more, imma kill him tonight," I say feeling more angry as I think about what he did.
"As much as I would love to see that shit I can't let you do that man," he says

"Nah man, Nora would never forgive me if I let you do that shit. What happens if he dies and you get arrested huh? What would Nora do? Me? What if he kills you instead or what if you get hurt and never play again or even worse? Think about all this shit man. Is this what your moms would've wanted for you?," he asks me trying to look me in the eyes to get through me. He sounds exactly like Nora.
I just keep quiet. I can't kill Deshawn I can't do shit and that made me feel like a pussy.
"How bout we just go for a drive til the sun rises, you can get your mind off this shit, we'll figure some shit out tomorrow," he says and I just start the car.
We drive around til it's 6am. I get a text from Nora asking me where I'm at so I drop off Wayne and go pick up Nora.
I get there and she's standing out front mad as fuck. She gets in the car and I drive off without saying anything.
"You were gone for 3 hours Josiah where were you?," she asks me looking out the window.
"I was at Wayne's," I say honestly and she looks at me as if trying to see if I was lying or not but I'd never lie to her.
