Aron was busy with his girlfriend. He was busy shopping and splurging his wealth on this woman. He meticulously planned everything. He met her again by chance, and this time, he was going to listen to his heart and never let her go. They met at a conference and confessed to each other. The only thing she wanted was to get rid of Heather as soon as possible.
He was busy selecting an engagement ring for his love. He wanted to surprise her. He never imagined that he would be sitting in this expensive Garrad store in central London. He had already proposed to her on the holiday, but he had yet to give her a ring.
He selected a 5.5-carat red ruby ring surrounded by 12 diamonds. It cost him more than half a million pounds.
Looking at the ring, he remembered Heather. He did not even care about choosing a ring for her at that time. His mother dragged him to a high street store and bought her the ring. Heather was unhappy that the ring was not the perfect size.
"Take my card and buy whatever you like," he had replied to her in anger.
"Why am I even thinking about that woman?" He brushed off his thoughts. She was a dull woman.
If not for his mother, he would never have married Heather. He did not come from a privileged background. He worked hard and established himself. He supported his brothers and sisters and uplifted them from poverty. Now, his family members were all settled and living comfortable lives. His mother had seen Heather at one of his friends' houses and liked her instantly. Heather was beautiful back then, but Aron was not interested. Her sister Gina invited Heather to her birthday and there Aron met her. He was mesmerized by her beauty and gave in to his mother's wishes. His mother had cardiomegaly and was given limited time to live. He had a rushed wedding, and his mother survived to see his children. When his daughter Rose was a month old, she passed away, and a year later, his father followed.
After buying the wedding ring, he called Gina, his younger sister, and sent her a picture of the ring.
"How is it?"
"It is beautiful. She is going to love it, Brother. Where did you buy it from?"
"Garrad's."
"She is a very lucky woman. You know princess Diana selected her engagement ring from their catalogue. "
"Is it?. Thank you for updating my knowledge.
He had already informed his brothers and sisters that he was divorcing Heather and marrying the woman he loved. They voiced their unhappiness.
"Brother, how could you do this to my sister-in-law? She is a genuine person." One of his younger brothers was very vocal.
"Aiden, I have worked my entire youth supporting you and then was forced by Mum to marry Heather.
First, I had a responsibility to take care of you guys and then my wife and children. Never have I lived for myself."
"But...." Gina wanted to ask.
"Gina, I have worked all my life for others. All of you have settled in now, including Zach and Rose. Do I not deserve to be happy and be with the woman I love?"
"What about Heather then? If you never loved her, then you should have divorced her after Mum's death. She would have found her happiness somewhere." Alex replied in anger. He had a special bond with Heather. He was very supportive of him and his wife during their infertility issues. They respected her a lot.
"I am not throwing her on the streets. I have planned everything, and she will live a comfortable life."
"Have you ever thought about the shock she will endure knowing your mistress?"
"Please, do not call her mistress. She and I have not started our relationship. Once I am divorced, I will make it official. Can't you guys be happy for me after I sacrificed so much for you?"
"It is your life. You can do whatever you like, "Alex gave up.
"Please, can I ask you all not to contact Heather until we get divorced?"
"We are with you, big brother," Gina replied.
"I do not know about others, but I am happy for you, your brother." She hugged Aaron. Gina loved and respected Aron from the bottom of her heart.
"Congratulations to you both, but I would request you do not make it difficult for Heather. Just divorce her amicably, and make sure that you guys never cross paths with her. After that, let her live her own life. Do not rub salt on her wounds."
"Trust me, I am not a person who will start a fight."

The truth was Aaron was a self-centered man who always thought about himself. He was very proud of his achievements. He wanted to be the boss everywhere. In society, he was very polite and humble, but at home, he was like a dictator. It was poor Heather and her idea of a perfect and complete family. She tolerated everything.
Here, after crying for a while. Heather was heartbroken but not pitiful. She knew she was an ill-fated person who always craved for one thing and never got it. She always remembered what her grandfather once said. God will never give pain beyond your tolerance, and it is like a test. Something better will come out of it.
Nicki and Neil were her support during this difficult phase.
"Heather, you should fight in court. Do not agree with these scraps he offered. " Nicky strongly wanted Heather to fight in court.
"Technically, this all belongs to him, isn't it?"
"If it was not for you, do you think he would be here? This is all marital property, and 50% belongs to you. One of my friends knows a very good lawyer, and I will make an appointment on your behalf.
"We should shred him in pieces, that cheating bastard."
"Just prove in court that he is cheating. See how his reputation shatters."
"Nicky, I do not know who his mistress is and when he started seeing her.? Where will I get the proof?"
"Oh! I forgot to mention it. I think it is Dr. Maxine. My colleagues tell me that he is very friendly with her and, guess what, she got a divorce last year."
"Maxine is his long-time friend. They went to the same medical school. I don't think it is her. " Heather was in deep thought.
Is it Maxine? She started having doubts. She was never jealous of Maxine. Aaron, who hardly spoke to women outside work, was friendly with Maxine. Did they go together to Rome for the orthopedic annual conference?
