Sebastian Crawford met Daniel along with a few friends for drinks. Daniel accompanied them after a long time.

"Daniel, man, where are you nowadays? We hardly see you."

"He is wrapped around his wife's finger," Sebastian said in a drunk tone.

"Sebastian, you are drunk."

"Do you know your wife comes from a family of blackmailers? Your sister-in-law is a whore."

"Sebastian, my wife does not have any siblings. "

"Marissa that whore fucked up Alex. You be careful. Your wife might... before he could say anything, Daniel punched him.

"It's my wife you are talking about, Seb."

He left the place in an awful mood. He drove around to calm himself down. As soon as he entered, he saw Anne curled up and sleeping awkwardly on the lounge chaise.

He lifted her and she woke up.

"Daniel, where were you? I was so scared. Your phone was off."

"Why were you sleeping here?"

"Waiting for you."

"I can't sleep without you."

"Really"

"Yes. You are like a drug. I am addicted to you."

"Hold on, are you drunk?"

"No."

"It looks like I had a drink, and you are intoxicated." He was surprised by Anne's confession.

"Had your dinner?" She asked

"Yes"

"Are you not going to ask the gender of my friends".

"I trust you, Dan, and at your age, you won't find anyone who will love you."

"Yes, they will be with you just for your money. What else can an Oldman like you offer?"

Daniel was still sleeping when Anne woke him up. "Get up sleepy head, it's already 11."

"I am an early riser."

"Come and sleep with me." He pulled her in his arms and hugged her.

Their romance was interrupted by a knock.

It was their housekeeper.

"Sir, your friend is at the door and asking for your presence."

"I will be there."

"Daniel, who it might be at this hour."

He woke up grumbling.

Anne asked the maids to bring the guests in and serve them refreshments.

Daniel called Anne. She was surprised to see Sebastian Crawford in their reception room.

"I came here to apologize to Daniel."

Heather was clueless and looked at her husband.

Dani briefed her about yesterday's events.
