The wedding was a huge success and everything went smoothly without a glitch.
"Please put a positive word out about my business", She requested the guests on departure.
At the reception there was a young beautiful woman standing near the entrance lobby. She was constantly looking at the door.
"Looking for someone, Miss"
"Yes, a very important guest."
"Who are you?" She asked.
"I am the organizer of this event"
The girl looked at Anne from top to bottom. A mere organiser she thought.
"Then you should be organizing the event, not looking after other people's business."
Heather was taken aback by the beautiful woman's harsh words.
"Beautiful faces don't always have beautiful hearts," Daniel whispered to her.
Heather had customized uniform for all her staff. Royal blue top with beige trousers. Daniel, even with his gray and stubble, looked extremely dashing. He has a tall and athletic body. The woman looked at him intently.
"You look familiar."
" Me? I am the care taker of this place". She raised her eyebrows in disgust. "Well, do your business. I am mistaken."
She then called and complained." Mum, you said Hector would be here. Well, guess what, he is not here. You wasted my time."
Daniel smiled after hearing that. So his mother had organized a blind date yet again. He was Daniel H Crawley Aka Daniel Hector crawley. Rich billionaires with generational wealth. He was a giant in the tech business.
Heather explained to him his duties very well. The person who wouldn't even fetch a glass of water himself was now washing horses, fixing bulbs, mowing the lawn, doing little things he never did his entire life.
The best thing was he got to get close to his Anne. Heather noticed that Daniel was very knowledgeable. When she was doing the tax and accounts, he offered to help.
"Can I help you with that?"
" These are the annual accounts. I have to file the tax returns."
" Try me. I might help"
Heather was not sure as this was confidential company accounts.
"You cannot trust everyone, but sometimes trusting people who care will be beneficial. "
"Those who were very close to me stabbed me in the back. It's hard to trust again "
" I am a loyal man."
She handed him the accounts. Daniel wore his glasses and looked seriously into the accounts.
"You have not claimed these expenses. You can claim this back. And separate these in two limited companies. This will bring down the tax threshold to 19%".
Heather was surprised he was so good at calculations, better than her accountant. He was doing mental calculations, rarely using the calculator.
"Do one thing: ask your accountant to speak to me ."
"Tell me who you are? "Heather asked.
Daniel chocked on his saliva. He was afraid of being caught, and feared that she would not see him again.
What do you mean?
You came here as a maintenance person, but you are so good at accounts, any big accounting firm will hire you with better pay and salary.
