Her Past

Heather thought getting married to Aaron was salvation from her miserable life. He was good-looking and educated and when they spoke he said that he was a self-made person. They dated for just 3 months before tying the knot. Arion used to be very quiet and listen to her. She trusted him and poured her heart out.

Aaron, I have never seen my mother and Lisa is my aunt/stepmother.

I know, I heard about it. I know that she loves you a lot.

Lisa doesn't love me. My father does, but he is so scared to show that in front of his wife and daughters.

Your step-sisters are so polite, especially the little one.

Aaron, will you be coming for the menu and cake-tasting?

I do not have time for that nonsense. My mum will select everything. I think she has already selected your dress as well.

But..

He did not listen and walked away. She did not have the authority to question.

She did not speak to Aaron for a few days when he insisted on meeting her.

Heather, are you angry ?

Yes, every girl has a dream of becoming a bride and people are hijacking it, and you do not even care.

You are acting childish. You might know, but as a family, you should understand it is love and sacrifice that brings us together. My mother has seen very difficult times. She adores you so much. She selects everything because she considers you as her daughter. She loves you more than Gina.

Heather, would you have been upset if your mum was alive?

Nope.

Stop acting like a spoiled kid. I am working so hard for us for our future. With my salary as a junior surgeon, we can live a comfortable life but without luxuries.

I want to give you everything in the world. Better life. I do not have time for this cake-tasting flower arrangement.... do not be angry. I do not ask much, just an understanding wife.

When her wedding was fixed, she argued with Claire over a piece of her grandmother's jewelry, who said.

"I am surprised that someone is marrying you with your stupid personality. I bet you will be divorced soon."

Just to prove that she can be loved and she can have a healthy marriage. She accepted everything, giving up on her wishes.

When Aaron reassured her that his mother loved her she got the courage and spoke to her about the dress.

"Please can I take a look if it needs any changes?"

"Lisa has already seen it, and we have sent it for alteration. She gave us your measurements.

She asked Lisa about her dress.

"Mum, is the dress white?"

"No, cream. With white lace. "
