Aaron took time off work because of the stress. Handling Marissa's mood swings was like a battle.

Lisa invited them to her place to wind up.

Claire and husband Hugo lived with Lisa in her big mansion along with their 3 sons.

Hugo had an eye on the house. He was waiting for her to pass it down to them. He knew Aaron had a big ego, and he would manipulate him when required...

This was the first time Aaron lived with Lisa. He never stayed, even when he was married to Heather. He observed Lisa's lifestyle. He could never believe that Heather was from this family. Heather was such an ordinary middle-class type of woman. Marissa was a true heiress. Who carried herself gracefully.

Zach and his relationship were on the verge of extinction. Rose was the only one who made an effort. Lisa asked Aaron to call Rose to stay with them for the weekend.

"Aaron, why don't you invite Rose? I am her only surviving grandmother."

"yes mom"

Rose promised to visit on Saturday evening. She did not like her dad's second wife, but at the same time, she loved her dad unconditionally.

" M, Rose will come on Saturday. "

"It's been a while since we last saw her."

Lisa was happy seeing her two daughters with their families eating dinner together.

"Aaron, what did you do, Crawford extended your contract?" Hugo asked him.

"We have worked together for so long and I negotiated the deal. All thanks to Marissa for her input"

"I never knew Marissa was good at business"

"What do you mean?" Marissa asked.

" I thought you and Claire just knew how to shop till you dropped", he teased them.

"My daughters are worth it, Hugo. They are beautiful and talented." Lisa smiled, looking at them.

"Thank you, Mum," Claire said.

"I forgot to mention there is a big charity event on Friday evening. Do you want to come?" Hugo extended the invitation to Marissa and Aaron.

"What charity event, Aaron asked?"

"Everyone donates items and there is a bidding. The money collected at the end goes towards children's charity."

"It is a good cause. I would love to come."

"We should also do something," Lisa said.

"Mum, why don't you offer our Alaskan lake house for 3 nights and two days?"

"That's a brilliant idea, Hugo."

Aaron never knew Mathew Davison left so much behind. Hugo took the catalogue home and handed it to Claire.

Marissa and Claire started scanning. "Wow, Aaron, look, the antique pink diamond ring is also listed.

"Changs donated it. There were so many interesting things."

"Hugo, I think there will be a lot of people. The event looks promising."

"Look, Daniel Crawley has listed a week's stay at his LA penthouse,"Claire said.
